I liked them in the past but

Two weeks ago I went in with a slow oil leak, got them to maybe fix it. (understand it can be a gamble if it's fixed or not)
Less than 24 hours later, I had a fuel pump issue. Scheduled a fix there thinking maybe it was just bad luck/ bad timing.
Week later got it fixed, 24 hours after getting it back driving along and my car goes into limp mode. (No power, goes up to 5mph)

Tldr
First time, came in with a small issue, left with a medium issue.
Second time, came in with medium issue and left with a big issue.

Edit
I gave them 1 star but after this they did fix it for free, it what's expected but they did offer the loaner car no charge. The issue was the part.

Heartland Auto Tire did a great job with my vehicle. The staff were friendly, respectful, and treated both me and my car with care. They respected my time, quickly diagnosed all of the issues I was having, and got everything fixed faster than I expected. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I would definitely come back again for future service. Highly recommended! AND their waiting room is the cleanest I’ve ever seen.

I had a great experience at Heartland Tire. John took care of me, even though I was late due to a bad RV battery. Tim (T2) had to do one tire at a time, which kinda sucked but he did it flawlessly. They loaned me a courtesy car so I could get lunch while waiting. I recommend them!

Today was the first and last time I will be going to Heartland Tire to service my Audi. I brought my car in to have the brakes checked and get an oil change. I paid $310 for the oil change and diagnostics. Apparently, nothing is wrong with the brakes. I I left after paying and once I was 14 miles away from the shop, my check oil light came on, and I was getting alerts on my dashboard that I was low on oil. I called the shop because now I’m on the side of the highway during rush hour traffic afraid to drive my car. It was suggested for me to drive or tow it back to them, I asked if they even put oil in my car. The guy I spoke with said that he saw his guy on camera putting oil in my car. He had me check to make sure that there was no leaking underneath my car or under the hood, which there wasn’t. So after hanging up with him, I decided to go to my usual place, which is Firestone in Maple Grove. They drained the oil that was in my car since there isn’t a dipstick to check the level and only 3 quarts of oil came out. My car requires 4.9 quarts so I was shorted almost 2 quarts by Heartland Tire. I looked at my invoice, they did charge me for 4.9 quarts, however that’s not what I received, obviously. No wonder my dash screen message said to put a a quart of oil in and then drive to the nearest dealer. Yeah, you saw your guy put oil in my car but he didn’t put enough oil in it. His negligence could have ruined my engine. This Google review is my only recourse, to warn others or to at least make them think twice before bringing their vehicle into this shop.

5/28/2026 Update
My car's engine idle was running rough Dec 2025 so I brought it to Firestone for a look. So many issues going on, it was going to cost me over $5k to fix. I told them about Heartland Tire not putting enough oil in my car for the last oil change I had done there and asked if that could have been why my car was having these issues and they confirmed that's what more than likely was what was causing these problems now. Today Wheelzy had a flatbed tow truck tow away my car of 7 years and all I got a whopping $790. I hope Heartland Tire goes out of business sooner than later for running such an incompetent operation.

Jon knows his stuff, great advice on preventative maintenance. They are thorough with the repairs. Mike recharged the A/C, found a leak and fixed that it! I got it recharged recently but they didn't fix the leak at the other place. It's most expensive to pay for it twice. Do yourself a favor and come here to get it done once and get it done right! I also met Adam the manager, he runs the place well. I highly recommend this place!
