First time coming here and the 2 women who served me had horrible customer service. Their rudeness was astounding. Even if they had the best product ever I will not be back. Try a little bit of friendliness.

I have been a coming to Rempels for years. My family has too. I was in Abbotsford visiting my brother. I told him before I leave I wanted to stop at Remples. So after breakfast we stopped by, so I could get farmer sausage and jerkey. He decided to grab some too. He was treated fine. He then left and waited for me in his car. I was not treated well at all. I was given attitude by the lady who was serving me ( while she whispered to he co-workers, then them looking at me )and at the end of my transaction she said you know it's only 1lb of jerkey per family. I said I was with my brother ( I was shocked that I was having to defend myself ). She said it doesn't matter still family and you came together. I said yes but we don't live together ( again defending myself ). I have never, ever been treated so rudely there. I was shocked. I will not be coming back to Remples ever again. Years of being a local customer ( even after moving out of town ) was destroyed by one women's assumption and rudeness. I was so upset when I left. Never again.

I normally don't write reviews, but after reading some of the previous reviews, I needed to speak up. Quite frankly the meat they sell is fantastic. You can drive by in the morning before they open and there is always a lineup. I have never met a staff member that was rude or short with me, but if it ever happened it would be easy to understand. It is full out in there from opening to closing. It is nice to see a small family business doing so well here in Abbotsford. Abbotsford's secret is out, they do have the best sausage and bacon I have ever had. And to the person who left the review and had a whopping $300 to spend, really......., don't say how much you spend, your pulling down your pants and we are all laughing.

I phone there today and they told me they dont take orders ahead of time.I would have ordered a few hundred dollars worth of meat today but was told cant,because saturday would be to busy to pick my order up, does that make any scents,so now ill go there and hold the line up on saturday for an hour or more, because i am still going to spend 300$,last time i was there thats how long it took to get my meat packed and they had two girls doing it. lol I guess its better to make the line up bigger and make everyone wait for my big order,and i am coming down from the caribou too.thxs for saving me some time.And yes been going there for 15 teen years and spend a lot of moneyyy there and still will,thanks

hi there. I've worked at rempel meats for 11 years and my dad is co owner. there are certain times of the year when we are unable to take phone in orders. those timesare usually only around the holIidays. unfortunatly many out of town customers come in during that time. we are extremely busy during these times and all of our workers are helping the huge lineups out the door, making product and cleaning. at these times if we take phone in orders we would fall behind with the customers in the store already waiting to be served. we appreciatw yoir business and its the best way to satisfy the customers already in our store. Great bacon, steaks, and pork. The farmers and garlic sausage is excellent. The store is very busy. Long line ups at Christmas time. If you know what you want, the best thing is to phone your order in

The product at Rempels is great but their customer service leaves alot to be desired. More than once I've had to ask my server to wash their hands after handling cash and once I was told I could put in a phone order to pick up later, only to be told later that day I couldnt do that. There are a few nice staff members but unfortanately the unpleasant ones make the whole experience a little disapointing.
Like I said, great meat, crummy service and attitude.
