He then earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport in 1993 and performed his residency in Internal Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, completing his program in 1996. Entering private practice in Baton Rouge, Dr. G. Douglas Say joined the Baton Rouge Clinic family of physicians in the fall of 2008. Licensed to practice in Louisiana, Dr. Say is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In his professional career, he has also served as Assistant Medical Director for Hospice of Baton Rouge and as Chairman of Medicine with Baton Rouge General Medical Center.
