Eric I believe his name is refused to tell me how much it was going to cost to get my portfolio set up. I tried to get a hold of someone other that Eric but every number I called led to him. Too bad!

Update: I just came across my review from two years ago. It is worth noting that I did pull my money and after a year later, put them back. Our Advisor, Jack, makes all the difference in the world! He communicates with us--BOTH of us. That was not the case when I left the poor review. I trust he and this firm explicitly.
Pathetically run business. Our contact is unwilling to deal with me and will always phone my husband instead of returning my messages. I have been trying to get my funds transferred out for over a month and feel like they are drawing it out on purpose. I regret the day we pulled our funds over from Edward Jones. If you are considering Fisher Investments, do yourself a favor and don't bother. They charge a lot but provide zero customer service.

Seems like these reviews are largely from the market correction 3 years ago. Funny that they blame the firm instead of looking at the overall market. Yes, some years money managers outperform or underperform the benchmark, that’s kind of to be expected. This is why these goofballs have a financial advisor, they don’t know anything.
These folks and anyone with a financial advisor would be best off just following the advice on r/financialindependence or r/personalfinance on Reddit dot com. Just buy the index and hold 10 or more years, and just don’t panic sell when there’s a recession or correction. Otherwise, maybe just stick with CDs and bonds, pay off your house, invest and grow your wealth through other avenues, if you don’t want to learn the first thing about markets. Hell, ChatGPT and other AI practically render all financial advisors useless. They don’t know when gold or oil or tech stocks are gunna go up. Just buy and hold S&P500 for years if you don’t know anything.
Also I find it hilarious that people are openly disclosing — on accounts probably tied to their gmail, mind you — the amount of assets they have 😂 easy way to make you a target.

I had been managing my own investments but was about to retire so felt I should bring in a professional advisor. They turned $5 million into $3.5 million in 10 months. They couldn’t even beat their benchmark, MSCI. In fact they were 5% BELOW it. I could have bought the index and ended up 5% better with a lot less fees. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I realized that managing my own account was risky and while I had been averaging 30+ percent YoY returns I needed an expert to help guide me through the pending downturn. Turned my IRA over to Fisher and watched my portfolio nosedive in a couple of weeks. Looked at the investments they selected and was stupefied by where they put my money. Now I am out 10s of thousands of dollars. To add to the insult now they keep sending me their bill. Invest in companies you know and stay away from these firms unless you really have no idea where to put your money.
