It was a great experience all around. My wife and I recently bought a 1951 Mid-Century Modern house that we were told was hooked up to the city sewer system. As it turns out only three of the four bathrooms were hooked up to the city sewer system ... one was hooked up to an old and damaged septic tank. We called A1 Sewer & Drain to come out and give us an estimate for what it would take to hook that fourth bathroom to the city sewer system. "CJ" came out and spent several hours planning out the job, which because of the age of the house and the complicated nature of the task, required snaking video devices and scanning devices to ensure that the job could be done. That activity alone would have cost me a lot of money with another plumbing company, but A1 kept to their promise of a free estimate without me even asking about it. I accepted the proposal, which was very reasonable, and we had an A1 crew working on the system within a short period of time. Aaron and George spent two days executing the task that CJ had envisioned, and they were true artists! Both were friendly and extremely skilled at their craft. And they treated our home like it was their own. I am very pleased with the project and the experience of working with A1. I highly recommend A1 Sewer & Drain and the outstanding service they provided. They will now be my #1 choice for any plumbing needs. John Meyers, Norfolk, VA

I am very satisfied with the service I have received from C.J. when it comes to my sewer pipe issue. He was very helpful in providing the information I needed to make an informed decision on the extent of repairs needed at this time. He also came back out so I could add some addition items to my punch list, and provided all the avenues I needed to secure financing. I am excited to have this work started and completed next week! Thanks again.

Other A-1 team members worked over the course of several days until my sewer pipe and all piping services in the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom were operating properly. David Pennigton and his dad educated me quite a bit while showing me all the inconsistencies found from a previous remodeler 30 years ago. These services never worked so perfectly!

Ryan Pro came in as the closer to this great team as he spent quite a bit of time removing an ill-installed shower head system by the previous remodeler and replacing it with equipment that now provides a shower never experience before in our household.

This team of A-1 professionals deserves much gratitude for their meticulous job performances. I will recommend A-1 to anyone needing plumbing services!

We had an undetected water leak in a wall and at the exterior water meter (Quest plumbing joints)A1 was the third company I called. We were stood up by one and a contact request from another was never answered. I’m glad that happened. My experience with A1 was exceptional, from the initial contact, to a rep coming to the residence to recon the problem, to the field technician who actual did the repairs. Everyone was courteous and professional. Their service was prompt and I was never in the dark anytime in the process. I believe the price was reasonable ( $3200 but was then given a 5% discount) for the scope of the work which included an excavation at the meter, removing the hot water heater to get the interior wall leak. They are even going to come back at a later date to reinstall the hw heater after the water damage is mitigated and restoration is complete. Truth be told I was hesitant to use a bigger company but now I have no regrets. I highly recommend using A1.

Had a great experience with Jesse Cleaton from A1 Sewer & Drain. Jesse was very informative communicative and accommodating my outdoor spigot bust and we thought we just needed a new one however after Jesse went into our crawl space we realized the damage was a little more than we expected and he didn’t have the parts we needed which turned into a two day fix and a day without water however Jesse picked up all the parts and came earlier then out scheduled appointment on both days I am super grateful this was handled in a professional and timely manner as I was preparing to host a 4th of July birthday party at the house this weekend thanks Jesse I will definitely recommend and use again for future 100000/10

I’ve always had the best experience with A1. They respond quickly and go above and beyond. I called on a Saturday because our water heater was leaking and made an appointment for Monday. They called me back a few hours later offering to come out Sunday without charging a weekend rate since they considered it more of an emergency so it could get resolved sooner. Now it’s Monday and I have a new water heater just like that! Fair pricing for great service and knowledgeable technicians.
