I lived here for 4 years. When I first lived there. it was owned by skyline. They took excellent care of the property. Was a lovely place to live. Q residential took over and the place went to hell. The property manager is terrible. They have gone through 4 superintendents in a period of 9 months. They began letting everyone and anyone move in. We have tenants selling drugs right from the first floor. Police there all the time. Many tines the laundry room is closed down and your having to walk to the laundry mat to do laundry. The building has a huge problem with mice cockroaches and bed bugs. I’ve experienced all three. Their solution is having the supers put traps down and dust. The mice are relentless. The grounds are filthy, not like how they describe it when they rent the units. The storage is terrible, and now the balconies have been torn off for repair. We have had no balconies for months now. They began repair, and had no permits so it was put to a halt. Because of the lack of storage all of our belongings are in the apartment. They now offer free grocery cards as an incentive because they have a hard time renting a 2 bedroom for 1500 a mth. When something breaks in this building it takes forever to fix. We had a gaping hole in the wall where a fire happened in the laundry room. That remained there for about a year. Until water flooded the electrical and we lost power for about a week, and had generators up for about 6 weeks. I would NOT recommend this apartment to anyone. It’s a shame because it used to be such a great place before q residential took over.

Beware. The building appears to be pristine, but look around the neighbourhood for the source of the problem-that is continuous unpredictable and annoying train sounds night and day. You never know when you will sleep or not or relax. Vibrations come to and through closed widows in the winter. It looks good and a nice area but not so much when you cannot function and WHERE DO YOU GO-but leave and lose all your money, have to rent a truck or get movers-call the management they will be both unsympathetic and unhelpful (besides they are a big conglomerate from Guelph-just another big corporation. They will not give you your money back or let you out of this HELL. And by the way -when you look over at the train area (it is HUGE) also consider and add/consider the traffic. i just spent another sleepless night. Not recommended for $999.00 (which I sure did not pay-BUt that is the price. Save yourselves the suffering.
