I had an absolutely HORRENDOUS experience at Sugaring NYC’s Davie location with Jess, and I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with the service I received.
From the moment I walked in, Jess had an attitude and was extremely rude and unprofessional. During my Brazilian sugaring appointment, I mentioned that I was in the final stages of my menstrual cycle, and she looked at me with complete disgust before asking, “Do you not have a tampon?” in an extremely condescending tone. I understand the hygiene requirements, but her approach was completely inappropriate and made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable.
My Brazilian appointments typically take 25–30 minutes, yet my appointment with Jess was only scheduled for 15 minutes. She rushed through the ENTIRE service, aggressively ripping off the sugar wax without any warning or communication. During tweezing, she repeatedly pulled and tugged at my SKIN instead of properly removing the hair, causing unnecessary pain and discomfort.
Following my appointment, I developed what appears to be severe irritation or an allergic reaction on the front of my vaginal area, along with a SCAB from the aggressive tweezing. I paid for a professional service, not to leave with irritated, damaged skin!
I even asked Jess how long she had been doing this because I was genuinely shocked by her treatment of me. When she told me two years, I couldn't believe someone with that much experience could demonstrate such a complete lack of care, compassion, and professionalism.
Management seriously needs to address this situation. No paying customer should leave an intimate service feeling embarrassed, physically hurt, and completely disregarded.
I would NEVER recommend booking with Jess. If I could give this experience ZERO stars, I absolutely would!

I had a great experience with Hayyat at Sugaring Brows NYC on University Drive! She really took her time and paid attention to detail. I never felt rushed, and my brows came out beautifully. She did such a nice job, and I’m very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Hayyat to anyone looking for someone who is patient, careful, and takes pride in her work! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The decor in this place is so cute. Niveyah is the best Sugarista ever. I was nervous for my first time, but she made me feel so comfortable and safe and took the time to explain everything she was doing. I am so grateful for her! Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Sugaring NYC! Jass was absolutely amazing with my daughter. She was so kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to explain everything, making my daughter feel comfortable and at ease. Jass was very informative and answered all of our questions with care. It’s clear that she truly cares about her clients and wants them to have the best experience possible.
