Our fur baby, Baby Boy absolutely loves going to Paws-N-Rec to see his fur baby friends. When we say, do you want to go play with your friends he gets so excited he can hardly contain himself. When we pull up in the parking lot he even gets more excited. And of course he loves the employees he sees them he wages his tail so hard it almost comes off.

We had a great experience for our new rescue dog’s first haircut!! He was very calm and happy when we picked him up and he looks exactly how we asked/wanted. We are thrilled with how it turned out, doesn’t look choppy at all, feels super smooth and smells great. Krizia did a great job, we will definitely be back.

Constant professionalism and expertise in making both the daycare and boarding experience the best available makes my life worry-free. When my baby is in their care, I am free to work, rehearse, and perform without the stress of concern.

My husband searched pet boarding services and discovered Paws 'n' Rec as a "membership club", new to St. Petersburg, already available in Tampa. Well, we had to check them out! And we were so impressed! We have loving, frolicking, welcoming Basset Hounds Ogden (2 yrs old, brown and white) and Molly (9.5 yrs old, white, brown and black) who are inseparable, each of course with their own personality! After a full day of evaluation, our Royals (crowned King and Queen of the 2025 Suncoast Basset Rescue Fund Raiser) were accepted for membership into their first club!!! Each staff member is so helpful and pet-loving. Their facilities are spacious, clean, safe for indoor and outdoor care, feeding, bathing, recreation and play. If there was one thing that I would add as needed, it's space! Once more people discover them, they are going to need more facilities! We are already recommending them to our friends who have furry, wagging, family members. Thank you to Cori and Nicole, our first points of welcome! You all are Gold Star! Pat and Chris, Royals Ogden and Molly.

Paws n Rec – St. Pete is the BEST! Our Great Dane puppy, Snoop, runs in every time, tail wagging, ready to play with his fur-friends and see the AWESOME staff. The facility is gorgeous and perfect for big dogs and small dogs, plus they offer grooming—so he comes home clean, smelling great, and with trimmed nails. We feel 100% confident leaving him there, whether it’s for play, pampering, or boarding. Lifelong members here—we LOVE it!
