I went to Barnes intending to buy a $20,000.00 Motorcycle only to be turned away by the sales manager. He refused to talk to me or look at my late model trade in unless I produced Identification and allowed them to put my personal and private information on their computer. Obviously that would be required for a purchase but is not necessary to look at a Motorcycle or get a price. My personal information has been compromised in the past when the business I gave it to was hacked. I would like to thank the Manager for helping me dodge a bullet. I found the exact same model at another Dealer for $3000.00 less. They were much better in every way. I am upset that they are the only BMW and Triumph Dealer in Calgary. These brands were also on my list of possible future purchases but I will not deal with this Dealer.

I unfortunately chose Blackfoot Motosports as the dealer to service my motorcycle. Upon handing off parts to their service department representative, I observed them falling to the ground as I completed paperwork at the desk. The representative had placed them next to the desk moments before they fell and openly blamed the organization for not having proper storage areas.
Throughout the course of a week, I was promised numerous times by different employees as to when repairs would be completed and ready for pickup. Each time I arrived to collect the parts, I was informed they were not ready due to a combination of employee errors and/or shipping issues. Employees suggested co-workers were to blame and seemed unaware of how to properly co-ordinate the repairs.
Communication was extremely poor and I felt that that Blackfoot Motosports made little effort to no effort to ensure promises were kept and I was accurately informed of the ongoing issues. Of the few voice mail messages I had received, they were vague in nature and only asked that I contact them that day. I had hoped they would have included more specific information as to the reason they were calling and the progress of the repairs.
The last day I dealt with them I had received information that the required parts were backordered for more a month. This contradicted another employee confirming that they were already in-transit days earlier. Two hours later I had received a voice mail message stating everything was repaired and ready for pickup.
I can only hope the repairs I paid for were properly completed and the OEM parts I had ordered were actually installed. With the amount of empty promises and misinformation I have received I was left with great doubt as to the integrity of the repairs.
I will never return to this business as they have displayed poor organizational skills and professionalism.

I have given their service department countless chances... and they just keep dropping the ball. They have underquoted me twice (saying that jobs would take 2 hours and they have taken over 6). Their parts guys and their service guys have no contact, so when you bring your bike in, there is a chance that certain parts will be missed (they put on one out of five aftermarket parts that my last visit was scheduled for- and all were bought from them). They are more concerned with making excuses and defending themselves than actually doing a good job. I have finally had it with these guys and would not recommend them to anyone.

After receiving poor service here about 4 years ago with a previous bike, I wanted to give these guys a fair shot because their price on tires for my bike was the best I had quoted to me in town. I have to say, this facility has given me the worst service I have ever experienced at any auto or bike repair shop yet again. I am not that hard to please, I just want updates when there are issues etc.
The service adviser, Justin, has not returned phone calls in a timely manner and does not provide updates when promised. It took me calling a few times and leaving messages to have a parts guy call me with an update on the shipping time. My bike has now been in their shop for a simple brake problem for 2 weeks and I likely will not see it for another week or so. Very unimpressed with their urgency to complete the job and their updates along the way.
My 2 experiences have been poor, and I would not recommend.

Awesome service!
I was out for the day riding when something just didn't feel right ... Walked in to Blackfoot and Justin says let's get Jeff to take a look at it.. He'll take it for a run.. They did a few adjustments and I was back on the road. Being a female rider the service and courtesy here is terrific!
Thank you again guys for taking care of my FZ6

Blackfoot's been treating me very well for a couple of years now. They service my bike annually, and do a great job of it. Simple things like giving it a quick wash before I get it back, and making sure the fingerprints are wiped off are a bonus. They're certainly not the least expensive place to go, but you get what you pay for in the bike service world, and they give good value for what they charge.
