When they came out for the estimate, we were so excited for a new quality fence to replace the "done by prior owner" fence. We chose a cedar fence with a top rail. When the crew came out, they were fast on taking down the old fence and installing the new one. It was gorgeous!!!! That was in February or March. Spring and summer come along and now we get to really see the fence and notice that the double gate is not level. They sent out a couple of guys to fix that and the mess they left on my neighbors side of the fence. Everybody was happy. Until, I was mowing and noticed that on several of the planks, there was measurements written in black sharpie. Also noticed that the manufacturers' stamps were visible instead of being hidden when the fence was installed. And the double gate was not level. Again. Another phone call and pictures to the company. Had one of the supervisors come out and document all the issues. A guy came out and "fixed" the gate and replaced the planks with the sharpie on them. Did not sand the areas with the manufacturers' mark on them. Fine. Today, while doing fall cleanup, I noticed approximately 20 planks with no middle row nails which is causing a gap. And the double gate is not level. Again. So, another phone call to the company. At this point, we could have had Lowes install it for less and not be upset with the quality of the job. This was a $14,000.00 fence, so yeah, we aren't happy.

Have absolutely loved Ashlee fence from start to finish. They did great job communicating with me and setting the right expectations for my fence project. I would recommend them to anyone.

Let down with my experience with Ashlee fence. At first glance I loved the fence but the more I looked at it I realized the materials used in some spots were not the best. Contacted them about getting some poor quality boards and posts replaced. Waited around for 2 days, being told they were coming out, just for them to not show back to back days to fix these issues but then I’m getting hounded with text reminders and emails both about the second half of payment when I was told I didn’t have to make the second half of the fence payment until the job was completed and the poor quality wood has been replaced. I also just realized today there’s a patch of 7-8 boards that weren’t even nailed in at the top and they are all just lose and wobbly. The gates on both sides don’t sit flush with the fence and I was told that’s just how it is. The guy that came out originally to give me my quote was very nice and easy to communicate with and ultimately is what sold me on deciding to go with Ashlee for my fence, then day of install they send 3 Mexican gentlemen to do the job in a day that are difficult to communicate with if any. Kind of wish I went with a different company at this point. Still waiting on them to come out and replace and fix things. Not to mention I’m 8 months pregnant and rearranged my appointments around them coming out last week just for the no shows and being told “oh we thought they came out and it got fixed” ? Communication hasn’t been the best & quality of work is also not the greatest. Wish I had a better experience with Ashlee. I wouldn’t probably use them again in the future.

Great to work with and delivered a beautiful fence.

The thing I respected the most was that after the first day of install I noticed they had installed the wrong size posts, 4x4 instead of the agreed on 4x6.

When I brought it to their attention, there was no hesitation on their part.

The next day they pulled out every post and replaced with the proper 4x6.

We own a roofing company so we know that in construction, despite best intentions, there can be miscommunication, and simply mistakes made.

How they responded is what mattered, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.
