I need a second opinion inregards to my Yamaha motorcycle. I heard an unusual sound from my engine.
Another motorcycle shop said for me to leave it over the winter. The problem is in the engine. The engine will have to come out of the frame. But it will take a major financial commitment from me..$$$$ 3thousand plus.
He had no idea what was wrong and just a GUESS.. I wasn't convinced.
Two weeks later went to Burlington Cycle and The Mechanic said for me to leave it there.. Took it for a test ride.. Right away he had an idea where the problem was.
Jr The Mechanic called me in and took the small side cover off and should me the u-joint bearing from the driveshaft was loose and needs to be replaced. He said around 4 hours labour plus $450 for the part. I smiled and said wow.. I was totally convinced he nailed the problem. Around $1000. dollars for this was good for me. Fixed in 3 Days.. Tom the parts manager said saved half and hour so labour was less.
I have been to many shops before and this place is high up on my scale.. I will be coming back in the summer to say hi to the mechanic and the people who work there..

This place is an absolute joke. i ordered 2 parts, they told me it'll take 4 days to come in... I said ok, I'll wait. I come back a week or 2 later(terrible hours) and buddy didn't even order 1 of my parts. Now I wanted to return a brand new unopened part and the parts guy said he couldn't exchange it because it's been over 30 days. Very disappointed with the customer service at this shop. Looks like they lost another customer.

Sent (2) 4 wheelers in for repairs. Got one back 3 months later and the other 6 months later. They tell you a price to do the work and then add stuff on to it because it is necessary for the repair. BS. If you manage to get them to call you back about why it is taking so long to fix your machines. They give you a song and dance about parts coming in wrong and had to be sent back. 3 times. and that they are very busy and will have it done by the end of the week. Can't tell you how many times they used that one. It is a complete rip off and the Service Dept is a joke. They say it's not their fault for the parts mix up. it was the supplier. Really, don't you think they should get on top of it when they mess it up the second time. They will tell you whatever it takes to get you off the phone. Do Not go there. You have been warned. I will not step foot in this joke for a Dealership again.

I have owned many bikes over the years, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha ,Triumph,Ducati. But I must say after 1800.00 spent at Burlington cycle and a simple 175 2 cylinder could not be made to idle and run by Burlington Cycle, To say i am disappointed with not just their work but also their disregard for the bad workmanship. So I wanted to let others in Burlington and area what to expect if dealing there. I will not be again. Mike Pentland ps I should note Rick in sales at Burlington cycle is the one piller of trust at in my opinion an otherwise sadly run dealership

Horrible dealership, do not go there. Paid $1000 to change a tire, replace spark-plugs, cheap mirrors, remove a bracket wrap some tape on the pipe and do a tune-up. At Burlington Cycle you are just another invoice number. They said they would wash my bike they didn't, they almost kept the spare tire and mirrors they replaced, I had to ask for the parts back, when I paid no one said thank you, it was like being on an assembly line, just a bunch of robots behind the counter. I should have known better than to go to a dealer. I was pretty blown away by the unfriendly service, when I dropped the bike off it was almost impossible to get anyone to take my bike in. It was overall the worst repair and tune-up experience I ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away there are so many other better choices out there. DO NOT GO TO BURLINGTON-CYCLE.

Sales/Service Staff are quite friendly and knowledgeable but when it comes to actual servicing and delivering on time when promised it leaves something to be desired. Was supposed to take delivery of my bike on one day and they never called to tell me there would be a delay or anything, showed up to pick it up and took 20min for somebody to talk to me then to tell me that my bike wouldn't be ready for at least another day.
