We were aware of a number of deficiencies with the old roof and the workmanship of the previous installer.
Our experience with JN Roofing was stress free and exceptional.
Starting with the professional office staff that set up the estimate and booked the date for our install. They were polite and prompt in returning calls or emails.
Mike, the Sales Representative, was punctual, identified all the problems we already knew existed and more. He thoroughly explained the process and gave us the solutions to remedy the problems. He provided a comprehensive quote. He also answered my questions about the unknown costs that may be discovered once the old shingles were removed.
We accepted the quote and the office staff provided dates for us to choose. We took the earliest available date, which fit our schedule. They coordinated the delivery of the shingles and materials that our job required.
Everything was on site and Mike, the lead hand (not the sales rep) and his crew arrived promptly and prepared the yard with tarps and covered any windows or doors with plywood to prevent any damage during the process. The old shingles were removed, the Moore Vents and additional insulation were installed to improve the ventilation and air movement in the attic. Once the shingles were removed it was evident that many sheets of plywood were damaged(one of the unknowns I suspected and discussed with our Sales Rep). The decision to replace all the sheets was easy to make because it wasn't a surprise and I aware what the additional costs would be.
The crew was polite, professional, efficient, and skilled. They noticed that the previous owners had not properly vented the range hood or bathroom exhaust fan. They installed the correct vents so I could connect them (another of the unknowns). They left the site the same as they found it when they started.
The roof looks great. It is completely sealed to keep the rodents from getting in and it has kept the torrential rain we have had, out.
We had a positive experience from start to finish and highly recommend JN Roofing.

After doing much research on roofing companies that are local to Barrie, I chose to go with JN Roofing and Contracting. As discussed with Mike, the shingles were delivered ahead of the project date, the team arrived, as promised, by 7:00 am, and Dylan and his crew worked steadily (through the heat event with temps feeling like 40• and higher) until the job was completed and they made sure nothing was left undone. They ensured that all nails and debris from packaging etc were removed and property was clean and devoid of anything they may have discarded.
I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them for other contracting services that they offer (such as insulation etc). Thank you, Dylan and crew, for a job well done! 100%

The team from JN Roofing - specifically Dylan and his colleagues - did an excellent job reshingling our Muskoka cottage today. They arrived as promised, worked diligently throughout the day, and even finished ahead of schedule. I was especially impressed with their professional approach throughout the entire process. Realized I hadn't left a review and was up on my roof the other day grabbing a baseball outta the gutter, and was looking and the roofing job that JN did back in 2019 for me as it was my 1st home purchase and the material and workmanship still looks mint today. So going on 7 years and it looks like it was done yesterday and I haven't had any problems at all to date. Frankly i remember getting quotes from many companies that would do it but with no warranties to save a few bucks and those on my street that did go that way half of thier roofs have failed in one way or another in the same time period. Im glad i went with a local reputable company. Thanks

The complete experience that we received from JN Roofing and Contracting was exceptional! They are the best roofing company that we have dealt with from start to finish.

It all started with Mike Jackson who walked us through the entire process from start to finish. We were impressed with his professionalism and politeness. Some people will forget what you say, some people will forget what you do but they will always remember how you made them feel and Mike made us feel comfortable and secure throughout the whole process!

When his crew arrived the day to fix our roof they completed the roof in one day. They got to work immediately and finished in the afternoon! They were also amazing people.
