Richard was very good to work with. He took a long time explaining the scope of the services to be done and current code. He spent a long time going through the crawlspace and took several pictures to help explain the work necessary. I'm looking forward to a new clean crawlspace which is long overdue. Richard came out and did a in home inspection for us after I had been hearing movements in our attic. He was incredibly respectful of our home and very thorough in his inspection. He provided detailed photos of everything he saw and gave a comprehensive report and estimate for work needed. I feel we are in wonderful hands for getting our home cleaned and secured against future infestations. Based on my experience so far I highly recommend Richard and Attic Projects.

I had some attic issues that were discovered by a house inspection so I asked Attic Project for a quote. Richard arrived early for the appointment and took time to understand what my concerns were. He looked through the entire attic (1100+ square feet) and verified all issues that needed to be addressed (all with pictures). After the inspection, he and I sat down and went through item by item to discuss options for remediation. He also explained in detail how they will do the work and the related warranties they provide. Everything was very clear and transparent.

I finally selected Attic Project out of 4 different companies due to Richard's thorough, clear, and competitive quote.

On the day of work, the crew (Vidal, Chill, and Coronado) called 35 minutes before they arrived and started prepping the house right away. They built a pathway protecting the carpet and walls from the front door to the bedroom where the attic access is located. As they worked throughout the day, whenever I had a question or concern they would stop and fully engage with me until everything is resolved. Chill, Coronado, and Vidal were professional, friendly, and accommodating. They finished the job in one day and fully cleaned up afterwards. They also took before and after pictures showing the results of their work.

Overall, it was a real pleasure doing business with everyone from Attic Project.

Wonderful experience all around. Edgar and Ramon did an amazing job on our crawl space and air seal project. I appreciated their attentiveness to detail and how they made the effort to clean up all the spaces after they were finished. They made sure that I was happy with everything before they left. Manuel and Donald on their crew were also great. Nathan the estimator was super helpful and thorough in helping me figure out the options and explaining the different processes to me.

I have a massive 1400 sqft space below my house that is a ventilated crawlspace we use for utilities and storage. We had some evidence of mouse infestation and I don’t have time to address it all by myself not to mention the risk of dangerous disease from PNW rodents. I searched the internet and found Attic Projects seemed to fit my needs best.
I was able to get a walkthrough eval with Richard within a couple days. His thorough inspection highlighted the need to sanitize the space plus replace 700 sqft of insulation and all 1400 sqft of vapor barrier. The cost was on the upper end, but the details they contracted to address from remediation, sanitization (which was done at multiple points not just once), material removal, and recovering my space with improved quality products along with the 10 year warranty are worth it. I’m positive I’ll have a positive ROI which, for remodeling especially remediation, is virtually unheard of.
Juan and the technician team came out, cleaned up, patched holes, and sanitized. Ramone came to check two days later to make sure all the holes were patched & the site was clear of pests. Derrick then scheduled my site repair. Juan and team returned again. During the repair they were very responsive to my requests and knew how to address the nuances of the larger space. They finished the main rebuild in one day. Derrick and the repair team came out to do a final walkthrough and shore up some more complicated repairs needed from the removal of the old vapor barrier. I worked with them to brainstorm the right way to implement a long-term solution and they did just as I asked. I quickly paid the final invoice and was beginning to return to the space. I continued to shore up some of the loose ends that come from a project this size including finish work and sealing of the edges of the vapor barrier from both a functional and aesthetic perspective. These things I did to further improve the space and my efforts by no way impugn the team’s overall performance. At one point, I stumbled upon a more hidden nest that had escaped the initial repair (not surprising given the size of the space). I pinged Richard on a Sunday who responded within an hour. Scheduled with Derrick first thing Monday, and fixed expertly by Ramone on Wednesday.
I’m quite happy with the overall work this team (and I met them all) has done. I’m meticulous and the space has high functional requirements. My family is also susceptible to airborne hazards so I’m extra cautious and expect my investment to perform as required. I have the skills and ability to do this type of work and almost never call contractors so it says a lot that I won’t call anyone else to do any future work except Attic Projects. I’m fairly certain I won’t need the 10 year warranty but it is awesome to know it’s there!
The team performed the way so few contractors behave anymore. They are all professional, honest, helpful, knowledgeable, nice, respectful, timely, fast, fair, and just altogether comprise a great, collaborative team. Thank you guys!! It was a pleasure working with you.
