Dr. Das is a valued member of the Katz Institute for Women's Health, bringing his extensive expertise to a diverse patient population.Dr. Das has been consistently recognized for his clinical excellence, appearing in Castle-Connolly's Best Doctors in America from 2008 to 2026 and NY Magazine's Best Urologists from 2022 to 2026 and previously Boston Magazine's Best Urologists. His significant contributions to urologic research have been acknowledged with prestigious awards such as the James Kimbrough Memorial Award and the Montague Boyd Prize Essay contest's First Prize. Prior to joining Northwell in 2021, he was the Director of the Center for Neuro-urology and Continence at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. With a prolific career spanning over 50 scientific articles, Dr. Das has been instrumental in shaping national urological guidelines. He has served on National AUA Guideline panels for the Diagnosis and Treatment of non-neurogenic overactive bladder and the Diagnosis and Management of benign prostatic hyperplasia/lower urinary tract symptoms. His areas of expertise encompass neuro-urology, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), voiding dysfunction, and male and female incontinence.Dr. Das grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island and completed his MD at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and pursued his residency training in General Surgery and Urology at Duke University Medical Center.
