I’ve used this company for the last time. I had a monthly subscription but didn’t use it enough to justify it, so I’ve been paying per use. Every time I go some kid hard sells me on the subscription, or the new unlimited one month purchase. Kind of sick of it. I just want to wash my car without a sales pitch. The other day, after I told the kid I just wanted to buy one wash, he looked disappointed and said, “Tough crowd.” Places that are completely automated will get my business from now on. Bonus: they’re cheaper.

EDIT: I emailed them as they requested and after 3 weeks I have not heard back. Granted, I simply said I didn’t want anything other than not get a sales pitch every time. I can only assume they felt they could not, in fact, make it right for me so they just didn’t reply.

Paid $22 for a specific wax, I came outside with a shine, but all my bugs that were attached to my frame did not come off. My windshield did not come out thoroughly clean, as the bird droppings were still on it. Was highly disappointed after paying that much money. I was in a hurry so I did not go back to complain about it but it did not do a great job.

before I start let me tell you that I use to manage a tunnel car wash in broken arrow years ago and worked there for nearly 10 years so I’m speaking from experience. I went there at the end of April to wash my car and I noticed that the top rinse had a couple clogged nozzles. These are important to get all the soap off your car before they apply drying agents or any wax products. Other wise you will have films on your glass or paint. The nozzles can clog easily so I didn’t worry to much. In order to clean the nozzles you just have to unscrew them and blow the dirt out. I went back about a week or so later and I noticed that even more nozzles were clogged. I decided to inform a team member in case they didn’t know. They thanked me and I went about my way. I came back about a week later and now only one nozzle is working on one side and 3 on the other side. There are 12 nozzles in total so a 4 out of 12 isn’t good. I was quite upset cause they had plenty of time to fix it. Damn near a month. It would take you maybe 5 minutes tops to rectify the problem. So I called the corporate office and told them what was going on and they said they would get that problem fixed and apologized. I just went today to wash my car and they are all still clogged. This was nearly 2 weeks after I called corporate. So I canceled my membership and will cancel my girls membership tomorrow. Here’s where the problem lies. When a car wash neglects a task that all you have to do is unscrew them, blow on them and screw it back in which would take all of 3-4 minutes it tells me a lot of about a car wash’s maintenance habits. That’s the beginning of problems and much bigger problems. Problems that can damage your vehicle. The sad thing is other than that I have no other complaints. The workers seem friendly and such and my car is clean. It just sucks cause I had a membership at another car wash on 121st and elm but it’s out of the way so I gave Okie a try. Wish I wouldn’t have cancelled. The straw that broke the camels back is now on they payment machines when you’re a member they are trying to get you to pay $3 more for a new chemical. If that’s the case you either had to install a new piece of equipment or you bought the product to add to the wash. That’s putting the cart before the horse. So if you wash there take a look when the the car wash is rinsing your vehicle and you will see exactly what I mean.

It is a touch car wash. The guy in front of me was stopped by staff to get a net out of his bed before he went through the machine! Excellent job on their end and they keep a watchful eye out for possible issues.

Okie Express use to be my favorite car wash, however here lately every time I come to get a car wash they our out of cleaning rags. It seems like the vacuums have low pressure. I typically have to switch three or four times to a different lane just to find a good vacuum that actually sucks up dirt. Today I went and the parking lot had quite a bit of trash everywhere. Pretty discouraged especially after I spent $17 on a car wash.
