14 floors of hell. Elevators never worked and would get stuck all the time and would drop for no reason. North side of the building never had heat. Super was a drunk and never did any work. There was a pool there and they never cleaned it. Then they closed the pool saying they didn't want to babysit tenents who wanted to use it. In winter the pipes would freeze. Had ice on the INSIDE of the apartment windows. Super would enter apartments whenever they wanted. Landlord would tell tenents they wanted them to leave so they could raise the rent for the next person. (This was something they did to me. I was in a two bedroom corner apartment and they told me that they weren't getting enough money. We were paying $700 there and they could have been getting $1000+. He told us we could leave the next day and he would waive the 60 day notice.) So many bedbugs, I would have to move the bed back to where I left it after they moved it. People would abandon animals in the stairs. Fire alarms would go off in the building and in the parking area all day and night. Building stank of urine everywhere and saw feces in the stairwells all the time. Couldn't get anyone to open a door unless it was rent day.
