First they would not take my credit card off the account because the account was in his name, even after explaining I had a protective order and the credit card was in my name only. A year later and I got a new card, tried explaining that I needed a whole NEW account and why…. she grabbed the Sam’s club credit card application. I never said I wanted a Sam’s club credit card. After 15min of re explaining, saying forget the credit card just open a new account…. She said my card was declined twice…… I stepped out to call the bank, it was approved for 0 dollars…. She never selected which card I wanted the plus or regular. I went back in and explained and she offered to get a manager. She called the manager TWICE….. 30 min later still no manager. Now I’m on with corporate….. it should not be this hard to get a new membership…. Insane.

Worst Sam’s club across all DMV area. Management DOES NOT CARE about customers AT ALL, and save all products for their EMPLOYEES. Which wholesale club that only put out very small amounts of products at a time????? and only SAME people, including EMPLOYEES, were able to get the products all the time. Sam better learns from Costco about releasing products. Time to cancel their membership!!!!!!!

Very pleased with how this store handled the most recent Pokemon drop! They limited to 2 per person (adult) per membership AND they verified that IDs matched account holder’s name. There were some line cutters in the middle of the night, and staff ensured that they did not get any product. It was organized, enforced, and everyone who anticipated receiving product (based on line number) was able to get it.

This is the only Sam’s Club that’s convenient for the Ashburn, Sterling, and Reston areas, so it stays pretty busy. Overall, it’s a good store with friendly and helpful staff. The Scan & Go checkout is one of the best features—it makes shopping quick and convenient, and I wish more stores offered something similar.
Compared to Costco, the product selection is a bit more limited and doesn’t seem to rotate as often, but the prices are generally lower, which is a plus.
My biggest disappointment is the bakery. They no longer have someone available to take cake orders in person, so everything has to be done online. While I understand the convenience of online ordering, it’s frustrating when you have questions or need a small customization. Speaking with a real person used to make the process much easier.
The gas station is another area that could use improvement. It’s almost always backed up, and it seems like a few pumps are frequently out of service, which only makes the wait longer.
Overall, it’s a solid Sam’s Club with great prices and friendly employees, but there are definitely a few areas where the customer experience could be improved.

Great shopping experience at Sam’s Club! The store was clean, well organized, and fully stocked. Checkout was quick and easy. I always find good deals on groceries and household items, and the quality is consistently great. Definitely one of my favorite places to shop!
