We have lived here for 2 yrs. The onsite maintenance staff is very friendly, a little slow at times but ok.
Front office assistant is a pleasure. The owner of building, nightmare if you end up talking to her. She is not a kind person, sarcastic, only has one tone and that is loud and nastey. If it means waiting a day we wil, to avoid dealing with her. It is not us she is this way with her staff and other renters.
The building has gone through out door and lobby reno's looks great nicely done. The underground parking is priced to high, and has never been cleaned since we moved in, very dirty and dusty. They have an issue with garage doors always breaking down so the security level is not great when this happens. It can take days even over a week for it to be fixed. (door is left open). They also state they have security cameras, very few. We found this out when something was stolen from garage. (our loss nothing they could do)
It is an older building, they are doing upgrades to some of the apartments and also asking alot more money for those units, not worth the extra money. It has been a plus for us that they have allowed us to do our own upgrades(painting, lighting, and bathroom.)
We have never had an issue with rodents or bugs. You don't hear anything from surrounding apartments.
So to sum this up, We are moving, and the only reason is we have out grown our apartment and to upgrade in this building is to much money and we have found that we can get much more for the same price. (new appliances, modern features, pool, gym, onsite security and cameras.)

I have lived in this building for just over 2 years and enjoy both the building and the area. unlike other posts on this page i have never ever encountered a rodent yes there was an issue with ants however the management team had the building sprayed and treated very quickly and efficiently and there have been no more ants since the building was treated. as for the carpets they are runners and will suffer wear and tear that is only to be expected. Yes there is currently construction however this is to repair damage and improve the building and management has been absolutely wonderful about notifying tenants both current and prospective about the situation. as for unfriendly management staff you must not have met the same people i have all the office staff and the superintendents are polite friendly and helpful. I have also on numerous occasion recommended friends, and co- workers come to rent in this building.

It's not a terrible place. The building is old granted. But I have never seen any of this carpet you speak of. Yes, the construction is a bit annoying but what area in North York these days is not?? The area as to where it is located is nice, clean and quiet. The actual apartments are what you make of them, but they are clean and well kept up. I have been here a month and have no issue with any tenant or noise. If you are expecting the classiness of the downtown Toronto condos, then you have no business looking at this place. But those who can commute and have budget restraints..then this place is great.

This apartment will be depressing at times. With constant construction, power outages, fire alarms as well as pests and rodents. I wouldn't recommend any friends or family to live here.
Management seems to not have a handle on how to run a business with this piece of property.

I agree with the first review that the carpets looked horrible but they are just finishing getting rid of those and replacing with tile. I actually really like living here as my neighbors are very nice and I hear almost nothing from other apartments on my floor. There was a break in recently but I wouldn`t say this building comes even close to `ghetto`.
There were a few things we fixed on our own when we moved in, they left a satellite dish on the balcony forever before I removed it myself after much complaining but the one assistant pm they had was very very nice. Altogether I like living here and seems more than safe (new CCTV system) and haven`t had a problem with 1 tenant. I think for what the rent is the building is more than reasonable. Now if I had bought a condo for half a million I wouldn`t expect it to look like this but I think it`s far better than many other buildings I`ve seen.

Do not rent an apartment in this building, the management sucks. The building is filthy dirty and full of rodents. It is very expensive and the amenities very poor. The building manager is not very nice and if u need any repairs in your apt you might as well do them yourself as it would be much quicker and less aggravation. The inside of the building looks totally ghetto, paint peeling off the walls, god awful carpeting, plaster falling off everywhere. Very little money is invested in the up keep.
