She then stayed in New York to complete her pediatric residency and chief residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore before moving on to pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Capone practiced pediatric gastroenterology in New Jersey for 5 years prior to moving to Charleston.
