I had a really positive experience with Whalley Law, and I’m grateful for the way my case was handled overall.

At the beginning, I’ll admit I didn’t have much direct communication with my attorney, and there was a small mistake in the declaration prepared by the paralegal. That part was frustrating at first—but to their credit, it was addressed and corrected, which showed accountability and professionalism.

What really stood out to me was my attorney, Karl Verzani. Every time I called, he personally answered, and his calm, confident demeanor made a huge difference. He never seemed worried or shaken, and that energy helped keep me grounded during a stressful situation.

I was dealing with a pretty intense protection order case where two individuals were making false claims about me. I came in with evidence showing their statements weren’t true, and Karl did an excellent job representing me and making sure my side was clearly presented. He eased a lot of my stress and helped me stay focused through the process.

The caller listened to my schpeel, kept me going explaining my situation three times for 15 minutes. Just to tell me they "may" be able to help cases like mine, but not mine specifically. Had zero recommendations on who else to call. If this polite society means getting stiffed this badly, I never needed it in the first place.

Jeff Whalley and his team are amazing. Here’s why.

Too many family law attorneys are more interested in being friendly with other attorneys — and they’re not so interested in fighting as hard as possible for you. The way they see things is that they need to “get along” with opposing counsel (because they encounter each other somewhat frequently). The problem is that this professional courtesy comes at a steep cost to you.

Mr Whalley realizes this and makes you his primary focus. He’s not interested in making new lawyer buddies. Instead, he’s laser-focused on making sure you get what you deserve.

I had a particularly challenging divorce case that involved an international kidnapping. Mr Whalley fought for me — and I won absolutely everything, including full custody, the house, and nearly all other assets. Given the intransigence of and crimes committed by the opposing party, true justice demanded this outcome, and Mr Whalley made sure I got it.

Prior to hiring Mr Whalley, I had two attorneys who (to put it gently) were not up to the task. Mine was a difficult case that required a fighter.
