James grew up in Suwanee, GA, and married his high school sweetheart Meg in 2019. Since then, they have had 2 children, Charlie and Rue, and they hope for more to come. James graduated from Toccoa Falls College in 2022, where he double majored in Outdoor Leadership & Education and Bible & Theology.
