to help with residents--better communication to staff about residents conditions/needs- feeding, maintaining general well being, boredom, helping with basic care -dental care, changing diapers, keeping residents clean, attending to their personal needs ie. being available to help them get up from bed when needing help-getting a drink, conveying to staff changing needs of residents as they progress in their illness
