Camille C. i go there often to visit someone who is staying there right now. it is a solid, older building that is kept up. its not brand spanking new but its clean.The staff is so so caring and work together with you. They all have great personalities and i trust them with my friend totally. I would rather have someone in an older clean building with caring friendly people, than a nice "shiny" building with staff that isn't so. The clients don't just sit around. They always do something to keep they're brains and bodies active. I can't say one negative thing about Oakwood Park. They also have great grounds and a lot of nature around.

Oakwood is an older building, however I would not say that it is dirty or depressing. When you walk in the residents and staff make you feel welcome. There is something always going on. Residents are not sitting around sleeping in there chair. They are socialable, laughing are look like they are having a great time. I was so impressed when I looked at their calendar of activities.

The staff may be pleasant, but the facility is disgusting, dirty and depressing. How sad that someone who has contributed to society for a lifetime would have to spend their remaining "golden" years in such surroundings.

I was fortunate to be an employee of Oakwood for over 15 years and would still be working but for medical reasons I'm unable at this time.
Oakwoods staff is #1. Everyone puts the residents needs first and always. Oakwood works as a team along with Management, House Doctors, Nursing Staff and all other employees.
I have had many friends place their family members into Oakwood and have had nothing but positive feedback.
Oakwood will always have a warm place in my heart.
