I have lived at Regency Park for almost three years now. It is everything a place can be and more. I receive great care her, staff are very loving and friendly. All my needs are met. I can get my hair done, nails done, see the doctor on weekly basis if I so choose. (All In House) I take part in all the activities, I love the entertaiment the homes offers and enjoy going on the bowling and lunch outings.
I love it when we have pancakes and bacon for breakfast it goes so well with my black coffee.
One day I got to dance to Salsa Music with the homes Wellness Committee. It was so much fun! A Day to Remember!

I like the entertainment, and activities. I go on the bowling and lunch outings as much as I can. It is a friendly, loving enviroment.

My experience when visiting Regency Park for several hours recently was an eye-opener. While it may not be the newest home on the block, I was so encouraged and touched by the many small kindnesses I saw the staff provide to the residents. Residents who were well-groomed and most of whom were still able to engage in animated conversations among themselves and with staff. I chatted with several staff and learned that many had been there more than 10 years and wouldn't consider working elsewhere. It was very heart-warming and left a great impression. I hope I get similar hugs and smiles from staff should I ever require long term care.

This nursing home seems to be on the poor side of the scale. The residents do not get the best of care, possibly because the lack of workers. It smells immediately when you walk through the door which should say something about the facility. Residents are left in wheelchairs in the hallway for hrs while waiting for meals. I've never seen frequent turning of residents who are on bed rest which eventually leads to all the bed soars I've seen there. Infections are highly contagious at this facility because the nursing staff uses the same pair of gloves for all the clients. If you care about your loved one I urge you to find better!!

I think the staff at this nursing home really try to make up for the lack of hours they are alotted in a shift. However from time to time we have found that our mother has gone without adequate incontinent products. There is a family atmosphere and the place is small enough to provide a home like enviroment. The meals have been nice the laundry does loose articles from time to time, however for the most part they are overworked as well. The renovations have been a big improvment in making the place look welcoming. Our concerns are mainly about the baths that she has missed and the times she complains about being in the one diaper she is alotted in a 8 hour shift.
