About Orkin Our story begins in Richmond, Virginia, when a young migrant, Otto Orkin, launched his own rodent control company. His local business grew quickly and by the 1930s, Orkin begun tackling termites too. He soon expanded, opening up neighbourhood services across the US.

The first appointment we had for wasp nest in the attic we had waited over 2 hours and they finally said the technician was sick. The 2nd appointment Aug 31, 2026 we had waited 2 hours with a promise of a phone call back.. never happened… 3rd hour called them again.. they said will figure it out and call us back.. after waiting 4 hours and no show, calling them back said they need to reschedule again… Told them to forget it! Poor service especially customer service.. Gave them 2 stars, they answered the phone when we called.
