I made the mistake of using AI to get the review for the crematorium. Had I realized that AI was so unreliable and gave bad information I would have just gone and read the reviews. I went based on a referral of the funeral director handling my mother's cremation, and while he's a wonderful person unfortunately my experience at the crematorium was horrendous. Do not expect professionalism, warmth, graciousness, or even appreciation for the extra money they charge for what accounts do little to no service. Your loved one is basically treated like a product in an assembly line. You pay nearly $500 to have a Chappell set aside so that people can view the cremation. Whether it's one person or 10 you're still charged extra money. Then, you're not even allowed to enter the chapel until after they've taken the body inside and started preparing it for cremation. They don't even give you an opportunity to go to the body see the body pay your respects. If you need to go to the bathroom if you have elderly people with you or if you're disabled you just have to stand and wait until they want to let you in. Then once inside, you have about 15 minutes until you're rushed out for the next party that's coming in. The AI review said that they were warm and gracious and they gave you all the time you needed with your family member and that was absolutely not the truth. They don't even greet you or say goodbye to you when you're leaving. And the way they answer the phone, is atrocious. It seems to be a one-man show, answering the phone and taking care of the cremation so they don't give you the courtesy of properly introducing themselves, giving their name, or even able to answer all of your questions. I've been to cremations before, and this is not the norm. And for the legacy of being the oldest crematorium in america, this place is woefully lacking, and leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame because this place should have a wonderful Legacy and they've ruined it.

Be careful when choosing this crematorium for your loved ones. We had our grandma's cremation done there this January 18 and it was a bad experience. My family was locked out and told they've reached capacity of 40 people, which ensued in an argument, finally We were let in after people had to leave and fight for us to be in there. We ended up missing most of the cremation. I was told after calling several things like that's their policy, I could've said my goodbye at the funeral home. They don't know for sure if I was the granddaughter or not and many more. These people feel no remorse, .

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Slid my mother’s casket right out of the hearse, letting her coffin bounce. Just another body to these people. Ask your funeral Director where your loved one is getting cremated. If it’s this place, show them this video and find another place.

During one of the most emotional times that a family can experience, JP was overly understanding and accommodating. Even at the last minute when the individual that was scheduled to close my grandmother’s (Marilyn) services fell I’ll and couldn’t perform the function, JP provided an alternative. He showed my mother and our family the utmost compassion and empathy. These situations are never easy, but to know that people like JP exist in the world to help you and your loved ones through it, is a blessing.

We had two loved ones cremated here within the past year and we have no complaints! Very nice chapel. Just know that parking is a bit limited for medium to large groups. The funeral home we used made the process even easier.
