Initially the business focused solely on providing commercial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment across Canada. In the early 1990's, Harold L. Kriewald, Jr., diversified Stalwart's business plan to include the finest appliances available. The object wasn't to have long rows of appliances but rather to display then in cabinetry and kitchens so that clients could see then in a home like setting. Stalwart's showroom allows the customer to see a product, feel its craftsmanship and to get a better understanding of its functionality.
