Parents and older children often tell me they feel understood and that I answer their questions well. I take the time to get to know them and remember details about their lives, goals, and accomplishments. If there is tension between parents and kids, I help both sides communicate positively. The most rewarding part of my work is getting to know my patients. I value my lasting relationships with my patients and learn a lot from them.
