Use carfax, this company will get your credit card information on the $1 trial fee. Then they will automatically sign you up for a $49.99 subscription fee that you didn't agree to. They are scammers.

This company is a complete scam:
1. They data scrape the information they post on their site (illegal)
2. They have false information on their site and even when presented with factual evidence of the false information they refuse to correct it
3. There is no management team everything is ran by one person by the name of "Lily"

Already reported them to the Florida Attorney Generals Office with an official complaint of misrepresentation and false information.

This company is a scam. You get your first VIN check for $1, and in order to do that, you agree to their terms. The check box says, their subscription is $34.99 and you have 3 days to cancel. However, I was charged $49.99. This is considered an adverse change to the terms and is illegal.

I have reported them to the Indiana and Florida State Attorney's office.

FYI, when I reported this to them, this is the email response I recieved from Megan:

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

Depending on the region, customers can be offered a subscription under a different price. All the information was provided to you upon the purchase, including the price of your membership.

We regret to inform you the charge will not be refunded due to the absence of valid reasons.

Best regards,

Megan

"We are very sorry but we don't have information on your VIN in our database, unfortunately.

Our company is trying to bring the most accurate and complete vehicle history reports to our customers, so all data that is possible to get is at the client's service. We always offer to customers all information that is possible to get.

Unfortunately sometimes it is impossible to get more information as our data providers simply don't have it.

If there are any other questions, please let us know!

Best regards,
Lily"

You just can't cancel. Their site doesn't give you an option for cancelation subscription. They don't answer to they on site chat. They posted false reviews on their site . And they just many charges per month.

VinInspect has completely changed the way I buy for used cars. I no longer rely on a seller’s word or sketchy car listings. Their reports are detailed, fast, and cover everything from ownership records to accidents and recalls. I especially like that they show mileage progression, helping me spot potential rollbacks. I used the unlimited plan to compare five cars and found two with hidden damage. That info gave me negotiating power and helped me choose the best option. For the price, it’s unbeatable. Whether you're a casual buyer or a car flipper, this tool is worth every cent.
