He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD, followed by fellowships in interventional cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and cardiovascular diseases at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Additionally, he completed a pulmonary fellowship at the University Hospital of Reims in France.
