I would not recommend Jason Foundation.

Jason himself is friendly and comes across as knowledgeable, but our overall experience was very disappointing. We ended up having issues with some of the workers behavior, which made us uncomfortable. They were frequently walking around the neighborhood, looking into our property, and taking free items left out by neighbors. Because of these concerns, we had them removed from our property, which delayed our project.

I had originally pointed out an area where I believed the foundation issue was located. While I’m not an expert and trusted Jason’s judgment, it turns out the area I identified was actually where the problem was, while the area they worked on did not solve it.

After a recent heavy rainstorm, Jason told me he would come by to inspect the issue and assured me his work was covered by warranty. We took time off work and stayed home waiting for him, but he never showed up and never contacted us to let us know he wasn’t coming. Since then, I haven’t heard back from him at all.

What was even more frustrating was being told that if we wanted the actual problem area repaired, we would have to pay full price for additional work. Jason explained that the warranty only applies to the area they worked on. However, the issue is that the area they worked on appears to have been the wrong location in the first place, despite my concerns about where the problem was originating.

The lack of communication, missed appointment, unresolved issue, and refusal to stand behind the outcome have been extremely frustrating. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

It’s been almost a year since this company repaired my window well, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Jason was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything during the planning stage and made sure the work was completed exactly as promised.

The crew was also fantastic — very polite, professional, respectful, and hardworking. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. Almost a year later, everything still looks and works perfectly.

After starting some foundation repairs with one of Winnipegs ‘legacy’ companies, I was so disappointed and asked them to leave. Luckily I reached out to Jason who was able to come in and help us finish up the repairs.
Not only was he considerate with timing (ie urgency) given the state of our house, he was also cooperative with scheduling as I had to get the approval from my insurance.
Jason and his crew got the work done quickly, he was patient with us in understanding and being comfortable with the repairs to our drainage lines ( a nervous point for us as there is no industry standard and we have a dated house), and would recommend them to anyone looking for a foundation repair company. Contractors coming to do our basement finishing have also pointed out how nice of a job Jason’s crew had done on the foundation repair and concrete finishing for the feeder lines specifically.
It was also refreshing to hear Jason’s crew laughing as they work and speaking to him with respect - it was a drastic change from the swearing and yelling from the initial company I hired and had asked to leave.

Jason was great to work with, really liked how he was accommodating to come do quote in the evening as my partner & I work full time 9-5. 204 Foundation provided the best quote and explained why his foundation repair method is better than all the others. Small errors were made but Jason was happy to get them fixed at no extra charge to me as customer. I recommend 204 foundation repair !!

Jason is an absolutely amazing contractor to work with. He has fantastic communication skills and never makes you feel bad about the questions you're asking. He is a wizard with his mini excavator and it made the most beautiful trenches around our foundation. He treats his crew really well and their cleanup is second to none. He is willing to work with you and make things look good after (within reason of course). You can tell he is passionate and knowledgeable about his work. If I ever need help or someone asks me for a referral it will always be Jason at 204 Foundations. Stop wasting time getting other quotes and hire Jason. Best decision you will make with your foundation.
