Like the nurse practitioner we saw at our first appointment. However the following day my fiance ended up in the emergency room, he had to get surgery to put a stunt in for his kidney stones. In which he was discharged immediately after surgery, less than an hour to recover and just thrown back out there without ever seeing a single doctor. The doctor who performed his surgery never spoke to him about the procedure nor did he ever meet him face to face. No discharge instructions. We have attempted atleast 3 times to follow up with the office after the stint placement. And the lady who schedules surgery or what not has never called us from the first appointment we had much less after our emergency room surgery visit. Several call have been made as well as one on their website portal. Not sure how long exactly a stint should be in place. He still has not passed his kidney stones nor has any procedure been scheduekd to break them up. He is now 6 hours away from home at work bc he never heard back from anyone.

On 09/08/26 I tried to contact this practice to query a $383 bill with AETNA. I was informed by AETNA that the copay for a biopsy is $288 so AETNA tried to contact Georgia Urology billing. After almost twenty minutes we had to leave a message. This seems to be common with this practice. The communication from all parties at this practice is either poor at best or none at all, which can be a dangerous thing when dealing with biopsies.

We were referred to Dr. Patel by our primary Dr. After meeting Dr. Patel and his Nurse Carlos, we feel that we are on a good track. They answered all of our questions, explained every treatment that he wants to do and made us feel comfortable. We would recommend Georgia Urology anytime!

Iβm finished with this place. I went into the clinic for what I thought would be a discussion of BPH and an annual exam. My appointment was at 1:40 PM (arrived early at 1:30), and I did not get called until after 3:00 PM! That was nearly TWO HOURS!
After the doctor came in, he gave me a 5 minute sales pitch on upcoming seminars and various treatment therapies that they offered. No discussion of my history (strong family incidence), and we actually had no dialogue at all on anything concerning my health.
He quickly ordered me two tests, and ran me out the door. When I got home, I got a message from my Pharmacist for a prescription that he ordered, which was not discussed at all in our 5 minute session. A medication for what?
This is the third physician I have seen at this Behemoth of an organization, and each encounter has been sub par. Office staff and front desk should be replaced; telephone system is horrendous.
A word of advice, consider this a PSA: if you are concerned with Prostate Cancer Screening or general preventative care, this organization will seriously disappoint.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband had the initial consultation at the end of March for his vasectomy and thatβs when the procedure was originally scheduled for the end of April. As the date approached, I received a call saying the surgery needed to be rescheduled due to the doctor. It was pushed back a week. Fine. As the NEW date approached I received yet ANOTHER call to reschedule for a week later. The same reason. When asked why the procedure was being rescheduled so much she said the doctor doesnβt do vasectomies that often. Red flag #1! π© When I asked if another doctor in the office was available to perform the procedure that doctor wasnβt available until the end of May. We ended up canceling the procedure since they donβt perform vasectomies very often and having it rescheduled multiple times for no good reason. But it doesnβt stop there. We still received a bill in the mail for $1,800 when the PROCEDURE WAS NEVER DONE. The attitude and lack of organization with the people answering the phone is SO unprofessional! Donβt walk. RUN from this practice! ππ½ββοΈ
