He's also an expert in infertility, high risk obstetrics, management of fibroids and endometriosis, alternatives to hormone therapy in menopause and surgical/non-surgical treatments of gynecologic conditions.Dr. Mootabar has advanced training in robot-assisted Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) and uses this approach for select gynecologic surgery procedures, including hysterectomies. He was one of the first physicians to perform single site robotic surgery in Westchester and continues to lead the way.
