I recently bought a pair of expensive work boots at East side Orthopedics, Sydney, and in less than a month the sole on one of the boots fell apart. They were obviously defective so when I brought them back and told them that I needed a new pair today or my money back, they were quick to say they don't do refunds but will give me a credit. I told him a credit is no good to me as I need a pair today for work. He then reminded me that they were on sale and that they were a final sale and then added that it was "my fault" that I bought them on sale. I couldn't believe how I was being treated. I quickly reminded him that they were defective and so "final sale" should not apply. Finally he, reluctantly, agreed to give me my refund, as he is getting a credit from the company where the shoes came from.His wife, who never came out from the back room, had still hollered out that there are no refunds an sale items. I am very unhappy with the customer service and will not be going back there. They just lost a good customer.

Ordered shoes that took 12 weeks to come in, asked the owner why it took so long and she was extremely rude and acted like it was my fault because they only order for people once a month and I should have came in earlier to order. Also received custom orthotics and they fell apart in 6 months and they were going to charge me to have them fixed!! after spending close to $600 there I will never return I will do business elsewhere!
