These studies aim to improve patients’ pre-surgical and post-surgical outcomes as well as metastatic cancer survival rates. Dr. Segota earned her medical degree at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine in Croatia. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Cleveland Clinic Health System, Huron Hospital. Her extensive training also includes a hematology and medical oncology fellowship and experimental therapeutics research fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center, Taussig Cancer Institute.
