old dude that’s there in the morning needs to get a reality check and learn customer service if you’re going to work it. you’re there to pump gas not tell people to do it themselves just because it inconveniences you. just not how that works. go find another job.

i talked to the manager there and he is very nice. nice place to get gas when you get the right people working.

We went to get gas today and were surprised to see a young man working there with a gun tucked into the waistband of his jeans. He was also wearing a Trump hat. While I’m not sure about the legalities, it didn’t feel like an appropriate setting for someone to be openly carrying a firearm, especially while on the job.

I went to this station to use my Walmart rewards and encountered an exceedingly gracious and patient young man, Derrick. His patience and willingness to help me take advantage of the offer was a rare display of professional courtesy and kindness. As other customers drove in, Derrick politely excused himself from my presence as I continued trying to figure out the protocol for accessing the bonus offer. Each time he left to serve a customer who appeared, he did so with the assurance that he'd return

He worked with me for 15+ minutes, always responsive and positive. In this current moment in our community/country, my interactions with service personnel are too often rude, impatient, disrespectful, unconcerned, or dismissive. This young man displayed a commitment to be of service, and to do so graciously.
When we finally figured it out, he thanked me for my business.
I don't know who owns this station, but I urge the owner to clone this impressive young man. He served you well and effectively; that is priceless, but I hope you'll at least acknowledge his value to your business! His effort was far more than "just doing his job!"
