The communication through out this whole ordeal,of seeing Dr's and trying to recover was awesome,this law firm was on top of the whole thing, which allowed Mr, Copper to recover without having to worry about anything else other then to get better. I was so glad to have McCormick Law Firm fight on my behave. They showed to me more for my concerns of a fair just settlement than for a win for themselves. They check on my recovery periodically that gave me a sense that they truly cared about me personally as a person and not just as a client. They showed a concern for the medical treatment that I received to be sure that it was effective and adequate to my needs. The experience gave me a level of peace while relieving some of the stress of my injuries and I must say that my settlement was fair.

I usually don’t like relying solely on negative reviews without giving a company a fair chance but BABY THIS FIRM HERE TOOK THE PRIZE! Believe the reviews about their communication.

This law firm took my husband’s case on March 27, 2026. On March 30, my insurance company called me with important information they felt I should share with the attorneys, so I contacted the office around 11 a.m. I spoke with someone named Jasmine very polite, who said the case manager was on a call and the lawyer was in a meeting, but assured me the message would be passed along and we’d receive a call back. Once she was off the call.
Three hours passed no call. My husband followed up, and again was told the case manager was on another call but would call back by the end of the day. The end of day came and went, and still no call back.
The next morning, my husband called again and left a message, stating that someone was supposed to return our call the day before. He also made it clear that if we didn’t hear back, we would consider taking our case elsewhere.
Later that afternoon, someone named Jerrica called back, but instead of acknowledging the missed calls or apologizing, she immediately stated “ I’m returning your call I have questions about the accident” There was no accountability for the lack of communication and no addressing the reason we originally called. When I stepped in to address the issue and make sure expectations were clear moving forward, her response was dismissive and rude and I returned the rudeness right back. You get what you give. You cannot speak to people however you choose and then blame them for reacting.
Jerrica’s tone is RUDE! And I am sure that I am not the only client to say it! I even made an effort to reset the tone I reintroduced myself and said, “good afternoon,” trying to move forward respectfully. There was complete silence on the other end. When I asked, “so you’re not going to say good afternoon?” her response was, “no, I called to ask your husband some questions about the accident and I have 24 to 48 hours to return calls” AGAIN HER TONE IN HOW SHE SPOKE TO ME WAS JUST TO MUCH! That level of disrespect was shocking. At that point, yes I reacted. I raised my voice and ended the call, because there’s ABSOLUTELY NO WAY YOU’RE GOING TO SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT! And that 24- 48 policy was never communicated with us, but they knew already knew that.
Had that expectation been set from the beginning, we would have understood and waited. Instead, we were repeatedly told we’d receive callbacks the same day which never happened.

At that point, my husband chose to end the relationship due to the lack of communication and professionalism. When he called to inform the office another staff member, who identified himself as a supervisor ( birds of a feather flock together) place my husband on hold then came back on and stated that we had been informed a callback would occur by the end of the business day. That claim was inaccurate. While that expectation was mentioned during a later call, no one followed up as promised, nor was there any acknowledgment or accountability the following day. Instead, when I attempted to clarify the timeline, I was dismissed and told, “ma’am, I’m not talking to you because you were rude to my employee and you cursed at her and it’s best that we don’t proceed further.,” which is both unprofessional and dismissive with legitimate concerns and zero accountability. We will not be made to feel like we’re the problem for expecting basic communication and follow-through, and based of other people experiences on the issue about About their communication I stand corrected!

If your team is capable of sending contracts within minutes of a phone call, it should be equally possible to return a call or provide a timely update. Professionalism is measured not just in efficiency when closing deals, but in consistency and respect throughout the entire client experience.

We will be taking our case elsewhere. Happy this happened now rather than later.
