There are lots of places to picnic at Sadlers Creek State Park. Ther is under the big pavilion with a nice view of the lake and clean bathrooms. Out in the open there are numerous picnic tables appropriately positioned for a view of the lake. The park has a volleyball net with a nice sand bed and a playground for the kids with a slide. There are two RIVIAN charging stations, too. Really nice park, we will visit again.

Beautiful state park! Biking, kayaking, swimming, boating, hiking, and gorgeous sunsets. Electric and water sites. Clean bathrooms. Large RV sites. Would definitely stay here again.

Sadlers Creek State Park is a beautiful place to spend the day or enjoy a peaceful getaway on Lake Hartwell. One of my favorite spots was the pavilion overlooking the water. Be sure to stop there, grab one of the rocking chairs, and take in the beautiful view. It’s the perfect place to slow down and relax.
If you need an electric vehicle charging stations they have a few!
The playground is very nice and a great place for families, and there are plenty of clean restrooms conveniently located throughout the park. The staff was friendly, and the entire park was clean and well maintained.
Whether you’re camping, picnicking, fishing, or simply enjoying the scenery, Sadlers Creek State Park is definitely worth a visit!

We stayed on Loop 1, #5. The best view from any campsite in the park! It's on a high bluff overlooking the lake. The campsite is spacious and in good condition. THE BEST WATER PRESSURE of any campground we have ever stayed in!!!
Although we did not use the bath houses, they were clean. There is no park operated store on-site.
The boat-ramp only has a single lane but we did not have to wait. Most boaters seemed to get in and out quickly. No toilet at the boat ramp.
Deer roam the park constantly and do not seem to mind you stopping to look at them.
My only complaint is that the dump station is extremely far from Loop 1 campground!
This was our first trip to Lake Hartwell and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!
We did some fishing and caught a few rockfish that we cooked and shared with our neighbors.
Thank you to Ranger Ray and his staff!

Sadlers Creek State Park is such a peaceful, underrated spot on Lake Hartwell. The walking trails are easy and well-maintained, which made it perfect for a relaxed day outside.
I loved the Pine Grove trail — it’s short, paved, and right by the water with beautiful views. The bike trail is also great for walking if you want something longer, but still not too difficult.
The park is clean, quiet, and has plenty of space to just unwind. Perfect for a calm walk, especially if you’re not looking for anything too intense.
Definitely recommend if you want an easy, scenic outdoor spot without big crowds.
