A small tension spring broke on my new Ferris mower. I called my closest dealer in MA and they said they didn’t have, didn’t check anywhere else, and said we’d have to order and be a week at least. It’s spring and tons of rain, I couldn’t wait. Called Sudden and gentleman said he didn’t have, but he then checked other locations, which didn’t have either, but he said I could order and since he was already ordering from Ferris he could add to the order. They received it the next day and even took the time to help disassemble their showroom mower to help show me how to install it. Fantastic experience and willingness to help even though I didn’t purchase the mower there. They’ve got a new customer now, thank you folks.

I would need to hire a lawn care service if not for Sudden Service’s ability to solve my desperate power equipment problems. They are expert troubleshooters who have seen it all. They have all the parts I need in stock to tune up and repair my lawn mowers - e.g., this ignition module that a nesting mouse chewed through! (Bought new spark plugs too.) Also, my purchases are stored in my account, making reorders easy.

Sudden service is great! Always reasonably priced and the service is superior. Very knowledgeable staff and probably the BEST Stihl dealer in the greater Hartford/Tolland area by far. They don't sell cheap "knock off parts" they sell the real OEM part and almost always have it on the shelf. Highly recommended by professionals.

I have bought 3 pieces of equipment here in the last 20 years and parts and been very happy with them. My Ariens snow blower needed an ignition coil and I bought it here, it seemed expensive for a coil. Come to find out they sold it to me before tax for $ 58.00 and the exact part is online for $ 36.00. Even with shipping parts are far less online. Its one thing to support local small business and expect to pay a little more for good service and another thing to simply get hosed.

I have bought lawnmowers and chainsaws from Sudden Service. The quality of the product that they sell versus the big box stores is better, and the price differential is small. In addition, the service that I have received has been nothing short from spectacular. Whether they do the repair for me, or I buy parts from them, they’re always very helpful with explaining how to do a repair
