Referred here by a friend, I scheduled an appointment for advice and preparation. After the warm greeting when I went in, it all went downhill from there.

After explaining the exclusionary tax situation I needed help with, and feeling hopeful learning they handle some of same type of clients, I referenced a few forms I'd used and the preparer knew of only one.

The preparer then looked up the exclusionary requirements emphasizing and focusing on one of the three parts of the guidance while excluding the other I met.

After a third condescending reiteration that I'd failed to bring in supporting documentation (remember, this is a consult I'm asking for and can email pertinent documents), I was told the price for preparation without any suggestions or solutions.

I'm sure Walter's is competent at what they do, or else they wouldn't feel so comfortable talking down to a potential client coming in for help.

If anyone would like to refer me to their CPA who has a kinder demeanor, please respond to the post.
