I have been coming her for a while but have recently obtained MMIC ( state licensed card). I am now a media patient through the state of California which allows me to purchase more medicine and allows me to not pay state sales tax . Upon showing staff at Higher ground Baldwin Park i was told to wait until manage could come and verify . Dude gave the lady helping me a head nod and she said “ yeah we don’t do it here “ . They basically are saying they don’t acknowledge MMIC because legally im not suppose to be charge a state sales tax Whej I have already paid the state for my MMIC. Higher Ground had no explanation except they said LYNWOOD does it . I am filing a complaint with DCC NOT SURE THAT WILL HELP. But it will leave paper trail for when I file a lawsuit joined with other cannabis patients regarding this type of corruption within HIGHER GROUND & DCC. I am encouraging people to not shop here. Just think about it if they are charging me tax and state doesnt require them to charge me they are keeping that moeny. CATALYST prints up a receipt which shows exactly what was taken off of the MMIC TAX . It’s very transparent. I expect a response back within a week or I will be protesting outside there business in near future .

When it stops being about the weed and mostly about the customer service. Spot on on every purchase, every time.
Plus they carry great flower!!
Not one here to try other cannabis stuff, just stick to my usual flower. Though there seems to be something for every body every time I go.
Check it out, you’re gonna feel hella class-A vibes upon arrival. 💯
Thanks guys!
