It took the man forever to actually come to the counter and take Our order, then whenever he did take our order I told him how we were in a rush and he decided to took forever. Then forgot one of my donuts and forgot to make the bobas. After we finally got all if our stuff my drink was made completely wrong!Definitely won't be back and won't be recommending to anyone ! AND TO MAKE IT ALL WORSE we gave a $20 tip and he said to not put it in the tip box or his boss gets it 🤔 odd

Ive been several times over the last few years. I can say the taste of the donuts are going down hill and are going down hill fast. The donuts themselves are smaller than they used to be. The last 2 times ive gone, the icing has tasted bitter, spoiled, and clearly not fresh. It typically takes an hour or so for the nasty taste to get out of my mouth. My kids love donuts and will eat them every chance they get. I went this morning and my one child couldnt even finish one. My other child bit into 3 of them just to try and find one that was good. Not sure whats going on, but something clearly needs to change.

We've passed Daylight Donuts in our travels over the years, finally tried one in Johnson City TN.

Meh at best. Bacon, egg, cheese croissanwich burnt, hardly any selection of donuts at 8am (?)

A local institution, maybe we caught them on a bad day.

I give all chain places three stars unless they do something incredible. These are pretty standard donuts. The pinecone donut was unique and huge. When you warm them up, it definitely makes it better!

Best donuts in Johnson City. Without contest. The Old Fashioned and Apple Fritter are the best! They have cake donuts and yeast donuts. We used to drive all the way to the Daylight on State of Franklin but were thrilled when the one on Roan opened. The staff is so friendly and when I come in with my boys, they sometimes offer them a free holiday themed donut to enjoy while I pick out our dozen. I’ve called even ahead and they’ve put in a type of donut so it will be ready when I arrive. Their donuts also stay fresh longer than DD. I wouldn’t take a large group to eat in store, but if you’re looking to pickup a dozen to take home, this is your only choice.
