We highly recommend Elco, they are a great team with excellent work. We recently replaced our flat roof in elastomeric membrane. This project was a major renovation and Elco made it pleasant experience from beginning to end. We had the project quoted by 8 companies and chose Elco for their personalized customer service, detailed explanations of the process and fair pricing. Our main representative was Julian who professionally managed the process and was always quick to respond to any inquiries. We greatly appreciated his patience and time spent explaining the different options and materials used. Helming their calls, Samantha was always a pleasure to speak with. As the first person you will interact with, she creates a positive and memorable first impression of Elco. Samantha was professional, knowledgeable, and showed genuine care about our situation. Our on-site manager Jonathan was also wonderful to work with and ensured everything ran smoothly. The whole team was always smiling, polite and took great care while renovating our roof. After each workday, they ensured to clean the surroundings making this a headache free process. It is apparent that they are a strong team, experts in what they do, and take joy in their hard work. A few times, we could hear them cheerfully singing while they worked on the rooftop. Their positive attitudes are a great indication of a well managed team and effectively run operation. One of the owners, Simon did our final walk through to ensure we were fully satisfied. Overall, the work was excellent, and we appreciated the high level of service we received throughout the process.

*** UPDATE: After such a strong experience, I'm disappointed to share the post-work client care was not so great. One year after we completed our roof, we discovered large parts of the surface had developed a dark brown scaly finish. When we called, they only asked for photos and no one came to inspect. Although we had a guarantee, they said it wasn't an installation issue and would need to be resolved with the material supplier, who then claimed it was not their issue too. We were then blamed for not maintaining the roof properly, even though we had gone up to inspect & clean several times in that first year. No effort was made to rectify the situation. For a project of this magnitude, we'd hope they would come to inspect it firsthand and help us find a solution. It was very disappointing to be left in the lurch after such a positive initial experience. Luckily, all was later resolved thanks to another roofing company who identified what the issue was and helped us. So overall great work, just need to improve their post-installation client care.
