Working with Michaela was so great. I did a lot of research and putting things together for our remodel but there’s only so much one can do without experience.

When Michaela joined to help us, it immediately took so much weight and stress of my shoulders.

Her knowledge and experience was vast, she was very responsive, and so patient with us as we went back and forth on so many things to ensure we were making the right decisions for our home.

We highly recommend Michaela!

Michaela has been incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire design process. This was our first time working with a designer, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but she made everything feel easy and enjoyable. She listened closely to what we wanted, created thoughtful design boards for us to review, and scheduled follow‑up sessions to ensure everything fit our style and functional needs perfectly.
We also really appreciated that she works with trusted companies—this gave us a lot of peace of mind with some of the bigger decisions for our home. Project #1 is getting close to the finish line, and we’re already looking forward to partnering with her again for Project #2!

We worked with Michaela of Fairspring Design for some exterior design ideas for our home. She was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. Michaela provided helpful suggestions and visuals that gave us a clearer direction for our project. Connecting us with her network of preferred and vetted vendors was a huge time saver and brought peace of mind. We appreciated her time, creativity, and perspective. Overall, a pleasant experience and a nice collaboration!

We loved working with Michaela and implementing her design vision for our house. She asked great questions of how we used our space, helped us think through many of the different details that go into a home renovation and used that information to transform the space into something we love.

Michaela did an amazing job designing our kitchen remodel. Our house is very old and has some quirks that she helped us figure out and bring it to life. We have knotty pine and tongue and groove ceilings so it’s a lot of wood, so the ideas she brought for the floors, cabinets, backsplash, countertops
and hearth balanced it all out and it looks all new. If you have analysis paralysis I can’t recommend working with her enough: I would share the vibe/ idea and she would have a handful of options that were right on, and we would make the final choice together. I will also say I thought working with a designer would be beyond our budget, but pricing is extremely reasonable for the value of someone who knows what they are doing!
