She received her PhD and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas Woman’s University and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Texas at El Paso. She earned Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Colposcopist certificates from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as well as a Post-Master Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Midwestern State University. She believes in providing authentic and empathetic holistic care based on current research and best practices.
