I’ve been driving for over 50 years and currently own a Lexus, so I tend to be particular about how my vehicle is treated. I recently visited this car wash and was very pleased with the experience.

One thing that stood out to me was how accessible and easy everything was to navigate. The entrance was clearly marked, there was plenty of room to maneuver my vehicle, and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured. As a senior citizen, I appreciate businesses that make things comfortable for older customers.

The staff was courteous and patient when explaining the wash options, and they were happy to answer my questions. I also noticed that the walkways were well maintained and easy to access, which is something many places overlook.

Most importantly, my Lexus came out looking excellent. The exterior was spotless, the wheels were cleaned thoroughly, and the finish had a nice shine without any streaks. It’s obvious they take pride in their work and pay attention to detail.

I’m not someone who gets car washes frequently — usually only when my white car gets really dirty or after driving in winter conditions when I want an undercarriage wash after exposure to road salt. Cruz N Shine has become my go-to place.

I appreciate that they keep things simple and don’t try to upsell extra services. I can get a straightforward wash with undercarriage cleaning and be on my way. Another big plus for me is that they allow me to drive my own car through, which I really appreciate, because I don’t carry my Tesla key card around.

Easy experience, no pressure, and exactly what I need every time. Highly recommend!

The quality of the job is very poor. A few days ago I took my car there and specifically said the top needed a good clean. Needless to say that I drove off with a dirty roof.
I still went back with my other car and bought the diamond package which includes extensive interior and exterior cleaning. Again, drove off with a dirty car. They didn’t even touch the trunk, the doors and middle console were still dirty, not even to mention that there were many dirty spots on the exterior, with no tire shine applied, or ceramic sealant. I felt like I wasted my money.

I have been a regular customer of this Cruz N Shine car wash for the past two years, bringing both my car and my wife’s car here consistently. They have always done an excellent job, and on the rare occasion I had a concern, management immediately made it right without hesitation.

Today, however, they went far beyond excellent service — they showed extraordinary honesty and integrity.

After having my wife’s car washed, I noticed something in the cup holder on my drive back to her office. It looked like a key ring at first, but when I showed it to my wife, she realized it was her diamond earring that she had lost last summer. We had assumed it was gone forever.

The fact that one of the employees found it and left it safely in the cup holder instead of pocketing it speaks volumes about the character of the people who work here and the values of this business. In today’s world, that kind of honesty is rare and deeply touching.

They carry themselves with integrity that deserves maximum respect. For someone finding a valuable item and returning it without saying a word is “pure honesty”. My wife and I were genuinely moved by this experience.

I cannot recommend this car wash highly enough — not only for the quality of their work, but for the outstanding people behind it. They have earned our loyalty for life.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received today. (See pictures attached) I actually read several negative reviews before coming here, but I decided to give this place a chance anyway and I regret it. I paid for the diamond wash. My car was returned to me with stains and marks all over it. There are drip streaks down the exterior paint, residue around the door controls, and noticeable smudges on the center console. None of these issues were there before. It’s obvious the job was rushed and done without care.

I paid for a service that was supposed to improve the appearance of my car, but instead it looks worse than when I arrived. This is completely unacceptable, and now I have to fix the mess left behind.

I’m requesting a full refund for this service. Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this. I gave this place a fair chance, but after this experience, I will not be returning.

I had an amazing experience at Cruz N Shine Car Wash! The service was fast, thorough, and definitely worth the price. I want to give a special shout-out to Ali one of the best employees I’ve ever met. The way he takes care of every customer is outstanding. At first I genuinely thought he was the boss because of how confidently and professionally he manages everything, but he’s not he’s just incredibly dedicated.

I have been going here for the last three years and I honestly could not recommend a better place to people. Telling friends and neighbors about this car wash. I would come here all the time. It was the most wonderful thorough car wash I’ve gotten in a long time. Staff was super friendly, The quality of car wash was unmatched. Frequently, bought multiple wash passes all the time because it was worth it.

I went today driving about 50 minutes all the way from Leesburg while I was in the area and was super excited to go there after I moved and stopped just to make sure I could go to this car wash. I had a little bit of grime on the outside of my car and I asked them if they would make sure to get that off and I would be “happy to pay extra”. The guy who looked at me and looked at me and looked at the car and said flatly no. I then asked if he knew any tips or tricks that I could work on my own at home to get some of fresh sap off my car. He said I couldn’t not possible. Took my money. And rushed me inside. Keep in mind later that day I went to a car wash down the street and they were able to take care of it with a nice chunk of tip money and an extra charge. According to my family in the area, they had a similar experience recently.

Well, when I got my car it was much cleaner than when I brought it in there were still marks on the window that could’ve easily been wiped away. With enough elbow grease was used and I did so with just my sweater. A few spots in my car that when I rubbed with a baby wipe came right off. And threw away my air scent from my dashboard without asking.

As I said I wasn’t happy with the wash and I wound up going to a car wash down the street and they had no problem, charging me extra to get the pollen and sap off my car and I made sure that it tipped them really well.

The entire quality from customer service to quality of work has gotten disappointingly bad and I will not be returning again or recommending.

I’m new in town and needed to get both of my early 1990’s “vintage” cars hand washed after having them transported on an open trailer half way across the country. I don’t have the ability to do it on the driveway at this time and it’s just too cold. They went out of their way to get it done and was very nice about it.

Sure, it’s more expensive here in northern Virginia than where we moved from in the Houston area; for the same price I was able to get the cars hand waxed but they do not perform that particular service.

I took a photo of one of the cars as they moved it from the back to the front to do the wheels, tires, and black trim.

I’ll be back very soon to do our “regular” vehicle through the tunnel!

Avoid bringing your car here, they don’t care about the work they do or your car. I’ve come here a decent amount of times , buying their pass promotion. I’ve never expected the car wash to be flawless, I.e. there’s always water dripping from places/the mats are wet/they miss a few spots here and there inside. One time, they put someone else’s mats inside my car.

However, my last experience was so bad, there’s no way I will ever bring my car back here. Given that everyone wants to clean their cars after snow, I waited 30-40 minutes. When I got my car back and started driving, I had to pull over because they left my back door open. Upon checking all the doors, I saw the entire back top of my truck door had soapy water running down it, creating streaks.

I returned to the car wash, waiting in line again, and asked them to just run it through the exterior only. Ali argued with me saying they’re so busy and “it’s just a little water, we can’t get everything.” I stood my ground and he said “fine, we’ll take care of it, go inside and wait.”

I did, and waited for my car until I realized cars were going through that had been behind me. My car was not in the front, so I went to the back and it was nowhere to be found. I asked a worker where my car was and he smirked in my face and said I don’t know. I found Ali who asked him, and the worker pointed to a side lot that they left my car in, UNATTENDED WITH THE KEYS IN, RUNNING. Turns out they didn’t in fact run my car through the wash like Ali said they would, they just wiped it with a towel and discarded it in this side lot. Which, they would have had to move a few other cars out of the way to even reverse my car out of the line.

Ali apologized, reiterating that they didn’t have time to clean the full exterior again and said he thought the other workers told me my car was where they discarded it. My car was there for about 20 minutes, in which anyone could have came and stolen it. This is completely unacceptable and shows they really do not value customers’ cars or customer service. I’ve never complained before about the missed spots, etc. but just because I asked them to fix their sloppy work this time, this is the treatment I received.

I called the number on the business card to try to speak to the manager, and no one answered. Make my experience an example as to why you should take your car and business elsewhere. Most of us work hard for our cars and the fact that they are so disrespectful of people’s property is telling.

Not the best clean at all, twice they rolled down the back window on accident while going through the wash after i explained what button to avoid- getting water on the inside-twice they forgot my Matts, had to get them back, and the wash quality left frozen ice and salt on the sides and bottom and streaks of salt and water all over the side mirrors, windows, windshield, sides and hood. The interior was the best job done. Don’t waste your time here.

Terrible Experience, Dishonest Business Practices

I had the worst experience at this car wash. Not only did they damage my car, but they also tried to cover it up instead of taking responsibility! After they washed my car, they hit it from the back and used gray tape to hide the damage, thinking I wouldn’t notice. I only discovered it two hours later after they had already closed.

When I called to report it, the person who answered said, “I’m just an answering guy, I don’t work with them.” No apology, no accountability—just pure dishonesty. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of integrity and professionalism.

You get what you pay for. Street sign advertised $10.00 car wash. Got in line. When I paid I was offered two choices: $19 and change and $38 and change. I said what about the $10 wash. They said ok and charged me $10.00. When the car came out of the wash a lady was drying it off. The attendant stopped her. Said I didn’t pay for that level of wash.

No inside cleaning or cleaning of windows or wheels or anything other than spraying water in the car. You get what you pay for — but not quite.

I brought an 18 year old car there with 5 years of dirt and grime and told them to do the best they could and I was not expecting any miracles. The result was phenomenal. The car looks brand new. Great Job but Overpriced

They absolutely do a great job cleaning your vehicle here, but over $30 for a carwash is ridiculous. Once you pull into the line, there's no getting out if you change your mind. If $35 for a carwash is reasonable to you, by all means this is the spot for you.

HORRIFIC SERVICE—STAY AWAY

After my family member’s experience at this car wash, I’m appalled at the sheer incompetence and arrogance of this place. They left the car with a damaged interior trim, and when confronted, the manager—a rude, dismissive older Middle Eastern man with thinning hair who clearly lacks basic decency—responded with nothing but contempt. He didn’t just dismiss the concerns; he escalated the situation by threatening to call the police over a simple complaint. This individual clearly has no business managing anything, let alone dealing with the public.

The laughable canned response they issued to their review is a textbook example of corporate gaslighting. They talk about “valuing every customer,” but that’s a complete farce. Their robotic reply reeks of damage control without a shred of genuine concern. It’s clear from the photos they share that they prioritize luxury cars, and anyone else gets treated like a second-class citizen. They’re too busy catering to high-end vehicles to provide even basic service to the rest of us.

Their excuse about promotional rates and commitment to quality is equally absurd—who are they kidding? If they actually lived up to their claims, they wouldn’t need to rely on desperate tactics to lure in customers. I recently took my VW to this car wash, and it came out with damage to the interior trim near the overhead light. When I brought it to the attention of the manager—a tall, older Middle Eastern man with noticeable balding—he inspected the damage with one of his employees. Rather than handling the situation professionally, he dismissed my concerns outright, brushing me off as if I was just a naïve customer who wouldn’t know better. My passenger, who was with me the entire time, can confirm that the trim was perfectly intact before the wash.

The manager’s condescending attitude made it clear he had no intention of taking responsibility. He arrogantly pointed out that his business deals with cars far more expensive than mine, implying that my concerns didn’t matter because of the type of car I drive. When I challenged him on this dismissive behavior, he escalated the situation by threatening to call the police on me, which felt both unnecessary and discriminatory. It was as though he thought he could intimidate me, assuming I wouldn’t stand up for myself because of who I am or what I look like.

Adding to this, the car wash is currently advertising dirt-cheap exterior washes—what’s going on here? Are they struggling to keep the doors open, so they’re resorting to these fire sales? It DOES seem for the price I paid that all I got was a $10 car wash, hardly any cleaning in the interior, and a broken trim that I now have to deal with. If they can’t even afford to treat their customers with basic respect, it’s not hard to speculate on their future. It seems like a sinking ship with a manager who is too cowardly to run his business with integrity. Just a sour, sour evening.

From the photos they post on here themselves, it’s clear they have some kind of prejudice against customers who don’t drive luxury vehicles, as all of their images feature them cleaning high-end cars. If you value your car and expect to be treated fairly, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. This car wash isn’t worth the damage, the disrespect, or dealing with a business that seems to be circling the drain.
