Mike did an excellent job fixing my Frigidaire refrigerator. I actually found him via Chat GPT as it recommended him among two other suggestions. I chose Mike because he is located in Arlington Heights, and I want to support local businesses. Scheduling an appointment was easy, and I was relieved that he had time today. Mike was punctual and courteous not to get my hardwood floors dirty by wearing shoe covers. I was worried that the frig compressor was broken, but Mike told me he just needed to defrost and clean the coils. That did the trick. Service fee was very reasonable at $75 which got rolled into the total cost of the repair, which I found fair. After chatting with him, I found it so endearing that he named his company after his young son. Very nice and hardworking guy. I do plan to use his services again.

My Wolf oven stopped working, so I contacted this company for repair. Mike was my tech - he quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed my Wolf oven.

He also inspected and serviced my Sub-Zero refrigerator and Sub-Zero wine cooler, making sure everything was working properly.

Professional, knowledgeable, great communication and very helpful. I highly recommend this company!

I got a same day appointment and Mike the tech showed up exactly when he said he would, providing updates along the way. He was professional and efficient! I had a freezer frost/leak issue and he knew immediately what the problem was. He quickly got to work and had me up and running in no time. He also reminded me that if in the next 60 days the problem returns, he will come back out at no cost. I just love a reliable and honest service. Oh, and he even quickly got my ice maker working again which wasn’t even on the service request! :) Pay for quality! It is worth it.

First time calling this company and we were so impressed. Great customer service from the beginning of the call. The person answering the phone was friendly and answered all my questions. We were shocked that we called at 2pm on Saturday and the repairman arrived an hour later. He was awesome, very polite, and very knowledgeable. Strangely it turned out our dryer started working correctly as soon as he turned it on and off. We understand it could be an intermittent problem beginning but we are so glad to have found this company and will call Alan Appliance again. Great people. One thing we would like to recommend to the company is that they text the name of the technician because the repairman had nothing identifying him as an employee of the company.
Don't hesitate to contact them. 5 star first time experience!

OMG!! Mike was FANTASTIC. Had an issue with my Thermador oven not holding the temperature. Mike took the oven apart and found the problem. He got the part in a few days and my oven works again! On a second issue my simmer burners stopped working 5 years ago and when I called service and also Thermador they both said the issue could not be fixed because they no longer have the repair kit to fix the problem. And if they had the kit it would cost $800+. Mike checked it out … got the part … and in a few minutes installed the part … and now I have my simmer burners back again!! AND at a fraction of the cost. My sister and I were so happy to get the simmer burners again we both gave Mike a big hug. MIKE CAN FIX ANYTHING and is the nicest person you ever want to deal with. Thank you so much Mike!!

I had an issue with my Liebherr wine fridge that turned out to be more complicated than expected. Mike replaced two control boards and stuck with the repair even when the first part didn’t solve it. Alan came in diagnosed the issue with my freezer/fridge not keeping temp. Low on freon and probably a small leak. Gave me the price (very reasonable). Came back when my schedule permitted and took care of it. Freezer has been like brand new ever since. Highly recommend him.

Our dryer was making this loud rattling noise and so my husband went online to look for a local company that can fix it. He found Alan Appliance Repair and I filled out their online service request form on Monday night and by Tuesday afternoon, I received a call from the company inquiring what the problem was and they had availabilities within 1-2 days. The customer service rep I spoke with explained the cost of the home visit and what to expect when a technician came. The gentleman that came to fix our dryer was professional and came within the 2 hour arrival I was told. After doing his assessment, he explained what part needed to be replaced and was fortunate that he had one available. He was able to fix the problem and now our dryer is running as good as new. We will definitely be calling Alan Appliance Repair in the future.

Wonderful local business!
Answered/responded to an email on a holiday weekend for our dryer! Tech was polite, timely, and friendly. He quickly identified the issue, ordered the parts, and was back as soon as the parts were in… even gave his cellphone number to text him. Absolutely recommend and will definitely use them again (but also hoping to not have to LOL).
