User friendly program and very helpful staff throughout onboarding process.
Very happy so far and looking forward to working with them.

Payworks is very convenient, but the reporting tools are not intuitive, thus I often need to ask for help. Even though sales promises support, getting support is the difficult part. Support amounts to simple emailed instructions or being told to go watch training videos - and often this does not help. I feel that I have to beg to get live support.

We previously used Sage Accounting which was an easy and user friendly system. It took minutes to run payroll for 10 employees.

We switched to Payworks recently and it has been nothing but a headache. The training we had barely scratched the service of what we needed to know to run payroll and there are many steps to complete. When a problem arises (which seems to be everytime we run payroll) the support is terrible. They are rude and make you feel stupid when you have a question and the response time is sometimes a day or 2 . Their reports are difficult to follow.

I would not recommend Payworks.

Switched from ADP to Payworks in January, and have never looked back. I was a client on ADP since 1993 and after being loyal for over 20 years, I decided to switch to a Canadian alternative. Not only were they cheaper, I got a dedicated service rep who assists me with any questions I have! I can also do my payroll remotely, wherever I have an internet connection, when I was on ADP I had to use it on the designated payroll computer because it wouldn't work on any other computers in the office. Great job Payworks, I tell everyone I know to call you guys!!

I would stay away from using this companies services. They failed to remit to the government for every single payroll I used them for. There user interface is terrible, and the pay structures for my employees were always wrong. This company isn't really much good for anything and I would have had an easier time taking care of the payroll myself.

I chose this company based on monthly price and I am regretting this decision. Payworks offers very bare bones service and the website interface is terrible. I can't believe in this day and age the user interface still remains busy and not intuitive. I still have to refer to my own notes of the 10+ steps (yes 10) required to enter one simple payroll run. I would not recommend this company. You are better off paying a little more for a company offering a better customer experience. There must be better options out there. I am looking to switch.
