We recently had our tile roof replaced and wanted to share what a positive experience it was. The initial consult was with Kyle, who took the time to explain the entire process and answer all our questions. No pressure, just great information and excellent customer service.
During the tear-off phase Josh was our point person who also kept us fully informed on the process which was completed in two days by a crew who were very focused and took the extra time to make sure our property was both protected and cleaned thoroughly after they finished their work.
The tile delivery came shortly after followed by crews who loaded the roof and completed all the remaining prep work. Installation followed shortly after. With David as our point of contact for the installation phase, we were well informed of what was happening during the entire process.
Once completed they returned to power wash our driveway, sidewalks and pool area as a final part of their service, I have watched a large number of homes in our neighborhood have new roof installed and Kaufman Roofing is the only one I have observed taking the extra effort once the job was completed.
The entire project took 7 working days over less than a two-week span. This alone speaks volumes of the quality of work and organization Mark Kaufman Roofing provides their customers. The choice to use a local company who has its own dedicated employees paid great dividends. Additionally, the customer portal gave us a place to follow the progress, to pay our billing installments and to ask any questions that came up along the way.

I interviewed five company’s when I went to buy a new roof. I cared about quality, speed and price in that order. I checked out underlayment, tiles and warranty and Mark Kaufman came out on top and did not disappoint. The materials arrived early and so did the completion date. They were done, order to finish in 5.5 weeks. Cleaned up after themselves and left the best roof in the neighborhood. They were 1k more expensive than the next lowest bidder, but were several thousand cheaper than some others who turned out to be fly by night with bad reviews, as I did further diligence. I checked them out with an ac repairman who is on roofs every day. He gave me two recommendations and MK was his top recommendation. All I can say is the neighbors are envious!

MK Roofing did a superior job tearing off my 25-year old barrel tile roof and replacing it with Eagle tile brown-gray range Bel Air. Work commenced and ended within the agreed time line. Tear off crew and PM David were excellent, as were the install PM David and his crew. Josh, the install manager made good suggestions concerning the tile load on, and the delivery was well coordinated and fast. Replacing your roof is expensive, and Mark Kaufman made it professional and straight forward. Today, my driveway, walkway and lanai were pressure washed. The house and surroundings look great and my roof is fabulous. I highly recommend MK Roofing.

It is not often that I give a 5 Star rating to anyone. Kaufman roofing deserves a top rating. After a slight misunderstanding on schedules, Management went out of its way to correct the problem. The work was done in three phases and each team did a great job. Hard work from start to finish. Credit to team leaders Josh young and David Dennis. Thanks for a job well done.

Mark Kaufman Roofing did an excellent job installing our new tile roof. Under the direction of Dave and Conrad, all work was completed on time and with great care. The crew cleaned the whole area completely every day, leaving no nails and no debris!
A job well done! Both the crew who did the tear down and this crew who did the installation of the tiles were terrific! I recommend them highly!

I take reviews very, very seriously. Often, I don’t waste my time to write them. However, for Mark Kaufman Roofing, I could not wait to share my thoughts.
WOW! WOW! WOW! This company is amazing!

Let’s start with the sales representative. No high pressure. So knowledgeable. Explained what the entire process was going to be, setting objectives and timeframes and level setting expectations. And he was able to provide me a printed proposal on the spot. And no nickeling and diming. If wood or Facia needed replacing, then it was part of the contract.

Now, let’s talk about the teams. Stellar. And they were so efficient. They had a team for tear down, a team for installing the Tyvek barrier and a team for installing the tiles. They were also wonderful craftsmen and took such pride in their jobs. Let me brag about the tile installers. I installed multi colored flat tiles. They were artists in how they laid out each tile to perfection. My neighbors all told me how beautiful my roof was!

AND THEY CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY AFTER EACH STEP. Plus they pressure washed all my sidewalks, lanai and driveway after completion. And they even had an inspector come out to provide me with a wind and hurricane proof mitigation report to give to my insurance company. Wow!

Anyway, Mark Kaufman Roofing so exceeded my expectations! I would recommend them 1000%.

If it would be possible to give you 15 to 20 stars I would! Brandon and his crew showed up promptly! The job was done was completed earlier than what was expected , I ended up having a few more problems which were addressed and updated. I cannot tell you how pleased I am enough with the job. I got estimates from several other roofers before choosing Mark Kaufman Roofing, and I know I picked the right man for the right job. Thank you so much.

Tremendous Value and Professionalisum! MKR was not lowest price but we experienced superior Value. No extra charges or surpries! MKR operates with teams of specialist. Removal and replacement team was top notch! Plywood and repairs were included. New flashing and underlayment was done very well. Conrad and his tile team did a great job and attention to detail, including cleanup. Project managers were available and communicated all steps- thanks to Josh and his re-roof team: David O.; Alex R.; and David D.! Kyle worked with us during a long sales cycle with a relaxed and factual approach. Sadie was always helpful and provided great coordination! Thank you MKR Team! If I could I would give 0 stars. I would direct anyone not to hire Mark Kaufman Roofing. All we wanted is a new roof. Instead we got a huge mess. They broke 2 rose bushes, 3 outdoor lights, made a mess of our fence, left over 30 nails in my yard, oil stains in my driveway and in the road in front of mine and both my neighbors house. It took alot to get a hold of them. They passed me on to 4 or 5 different employees. One who came and put white powder on the stains and told me that it had to be rinsed off within 12 hours. 48 hours they came to rinse it off, so then I had white stains all over. They left over 30 nails just in my front yard after doing 3 sweeps. One nail with went through my shoe into my foot. They offered me 500$ credit towards roof cost. I did not want that. I wanted them to undo all the damage they had done. After finally speaking to the Vice President Keith he informed me that his liability insurance would not cover any of this. They were all nice before the job, and all Nasty after the job. Made a total mess at my house. I would advise anyone to steer clear of Mark Kaufman Roofing.

William, Josh , Ronnie and the crew along with everyone in the office who worked with me through my insurance issues. Did a beautiful job replacing my roof. Punctual and work ethic second to none. Fast and attention to detail. Clean up was spotless. Highly recommend . The crew when I asked if they could remove a tree branch that was close to the roof because I didn't want it to create future damage , they ended up removing quite a few. Thank you to all for a wonderful job!!!

This is my third roof Kaufman has done for us and they are always very professional and helpful in the process. They have the best warranty of any roofing company in our market and do good work. Highly recommend . Dave and his tile install team did a great job on my tile roof. Josh did a good job of organizing and William is a great upfront salesman.

From start to finish, it was an outstanding experience. Salesman William Laity demonstrated exceptional knowledge and was courteous and responsive to all my questions. Ben Maddox’s rip-off team was excellent, completing the job quickly while minimizing inconvenience and protecting my landscaping and pool cage. They cleaned up diligently each day, even using a rolling magnet to ensure no debris was left behind. Ben kept me informed throughout the process and was prompt in addressing my inquiries. David Dennis’ installation team was also impressive, working efficiently and maintaining cleanliness. I sent a drone up to do a close inspection after they left. The roof looks fantastic - no cracked tiles, clean mortar work, and perfectly aligned ridge caps. David was highly responsive, providing regular updates on the job's progress. Dave Dennis and his team were great for the tear-off and waterproof work. He accommodated every request I had and the team worked long days to complete the work. Another team put a small hole in the waterproofing underlayment, he responded immediately came out to repair it. Completed roof looks awesome. Dave, TJ and their crews were very professional, courteous and meticulous. Quality work.

I could not be happier with my experience with Mark Kaufman Roofing. From the initial estimate to the final inspection, I knew I was in trustworthy and capable hands. Having an older roof required it to be painstakingly chiseled and scraped off. The guys worked tirelessly to get it done and keep us on schedule. Brandon kept me updated throughout the process so I knew what to expect and could plan accordingly. Despite the potential for a major mess, my yard was at least as clean and neat as it was before they started…maybe even better. I cannot express how grateful I am and will highly recommend them to anyone needing roof work.
