We can't say enough about this experience with the building of our farmhouse. From the very beginning, Charity worked with us to select and modify plans that fit our vision. Charity made it completely stress free and communicated with us constantly. The quality of the build exceeded our expectations. Our home was completed in 7 months and looks beautiful. After looking at several builders we settled on Craftsman due to their willingness to work with us to customize a plan. Charity was always quick to answer questions and provide honest feedback when others wouldn’t. She helped us decide on finishes and gave feedback and opinions to help us make the proper choices.

Even years after our home completion she has been a valuable resource with contacts needed for further improvements to our home.

Charity genuinely cares for her customers and wants them satisfied with their investment.

Craftsman Custom Home Builders did a great job building our new home! When researching prospective builders, the one thing that stood out from the rest was the communication and responsiveness to our questions and concerns from initial contact to project completion. I found the task of picking out the interior colors and fixtures overwhelming but having the showroom and interior designer on site to assist you with your choices made it much easier. My husband and I were told the time frame from breaking ground to completion would be 9-12 months. Our home was completed ahead of schedule (approx. 6 months) and Charity kept us updated and informed throughout the entire build. Even after moving in, we found a few issues that required attention and Charity worked quickly to resolve those issues. We are very pleased with the finished result. Overall, we would recommend Craftsman for building your home based on their skilled work and professionalism!

Charity and her team have been absolutely incredible to my wife and I. We love all the way in Arizona and are building in VA with her and her company, and she has been so flexible and accommodating with us. Since we can’t be in person for everything, she has gone above and beyond and has FaceTimed us so we could pick out all of our stuff for our house, sends pictures whenever we ask, and answers all of our questions and is on top of everything! I have never been so impressed with someone and their team.

This was the first time we built a house and had no idea where to start or what to do. We looked at different builders and finally chose Craftsman. We are glad that we did. Charity has went over and beyond with helping us. She listened to our wants and needs and guided us through the process. She made sure that everything was on schedule and completed. I will start out by saying this company is first class. The owner not only has a degree in design, but she cares about every home and customer as if she were building her own dream home. Charity takes all of your dream ideas, desires, and wants and implements them into the build. Charity, and her team are easy to work with, and deliver extremely happy customers every time. I've seen every home she has designed over the past 5 years, and all of them have been amazing with extremely happy home owners. Craftsman Custom Home Builders in Lynchburg really have worked hard to make the process as enjoyable as possible. They did a great job in getting us started, made sure that we understood exactly what we will have at COA time, went carefully through all steps, phases, materials, fixtures, placements, made sure we would get exactly what we are wanting to see. Plenty of great communications in process, not to mention patience in dealing with the 1001 questions we keep having, were/are willing to work with us to let us provide some of our items ourselves (mostly appliances that we really wanted to do ourselves). Great, easy to understand design center and options! The subcontractors thus far have all proven their quality, speed, courteousness, and how very helpful they have been as well. So far, Craftsman as a group have checked every box that I have on my bucket list quite well - great quality on the site.. in all the right places! If you are looking to build, and haven't given these great guys (and gals) a try.. go and talk with them.. We think you will be pleasantly surprised!
